Food Day is celebrated at Times Square in NYC.
What is Food Day? Think of it as an Earth Day - for food! Food Day is a nationwide celebration and a movement toward
more healthy, affordable, and sustainable food. This is a national grassroots mobilization backed by some of the most prominent voices for energizing the food movement. Each year on October 24th, people gather at events big and small and from coast to coast in homes, schools, colleges, churches, city halls, farmers’ markets, supermarkets, and elsewhere to raise awareness about food issues and advocate for change.
Craving Change? Spearheaded by the nonprofit, Center for Science in the Public Interest,
Food Day is organized around 5 priorities:
• Promote safe r, healthie r diets • Support sustainable and org anic farms • Reduce hunge r • Reform factory farms to protect the environment • Support fair working conditions for food and farm workers To learn more about the national Food Day initiative and the thousands of other events taking place in all 50 states,

This year’s festival has a particular emphasis on families and this would be the perfect platform to reach that target audience.
Let the community know that you stand behind them and we even invite you to join them! All sponsors and their families will be treated to complimentary food and beverages from our participating food vendors (that include some of the best restaurants in town)! Sponsors will also have a shaded VIP viewing tent, complete with tables and seating; for relaxing with their family, enjoying the live entertainment, and for taking a break from all the activities. +Estimated reach based on the total number expected attendees plus the total number of viewers, listeners, or readers provided by the proposed media outlets that will be used for advertising of the festival. Total number is then divided by the number of individual sources, to reach a national average number.
