From Saturday 8 to Sunday 23 August, Wendover was festooned with lovely scarecrows and groups of people wandering all over to seek them out and identify them. A small crowd assembled on Saturday 5 September at Fiona Michaels Flowers|Gifts|Events. Alison Edmonds, organiser of Wendover's Scarecrow Trail, asked Bob Duggan, owner of Wendover Wood, to give out the prizes. These were: • a token, made by Wendover Wood • a booklet, sponsored by Christopher Pallet, Wendover • a cash token for the Guessers: £40 first prize; £25 second; £15 third

Awards for Makers/Designers • Judge's choice: Captain Sir Tom Moore made by Becca and Indigo, inspired by the NHS fundraiser. He has now been donated Captain Sir Tom Moore to Woodlands Park Care Centre, Great Missenden, where he is much admired. • People's choice: The Mad Hatter made by Julie and family, because 2020 has been such a mad year.
