Photos New photos for Housing Trust On Tuesday 10 March, Wendover Community Library hosted a display of Independent Living Schemes Local Independent Living Scheme Coordinators Vicky Wadkins (Bankside) and Luke Mowbray (The Beeches & The Poplars) popped into Wendover Community Library last summer and were very impressed with the standard of photographs on display. They had stumbled across the public judging of the annual photographic competition for the fund raising calendar. All their residences were undergoing some refurbishment and they immediately realised that this was a fantastic resource of local scenes to complete the project. With permission, a selection of stunning photographs has been reproduced on canvas using the services of Snappy Snaps at 7 High Street, Aylesbury, snappysnaps.co.uk/aylesbury.

the photos, inviting the photographers, including Peter Carter, Chris Dean, Mary Payne and Adele Price, to see their work enlarged mostly to 16 inches by 24 inches. They were all delighted to see this treatment of their photographs. The residents of the three schemes were also invited to come and see the canvases. They were delighted by the colour and vibrancy of these local photos.
