He said: “This has been a real privilege and one of the highlights of my career, along with RAF100. I feel privileged to have served as the Station Warrant Officer and I must thank all people in public appointments who have assisted me with Ceremonial Duties and Freedom Parades. In recent months, COVID-19 has proven to be a major factor in my tenure, but it has given me more time to do the work on the Station that I haven’t had the time to do.” Warrant Officer Culley said she was: “Looking forward very much to the challenge ahead.”
Min Larkin rides for Charity
Station Archivist Min Larkin CBE has cycled over 500km to raise money for the RAF Museum. To mark the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, the RAF Museum launched an appeal to raise funds to support the vital work it does to preserve the heritage of our Service. It requested its supporters and friends to cycle, swim, walk, run 80 miles in 80 days, or do anything else they could think of, to raise £80 (or more if possible). Over 4,000 people have taken up the challenge in the UK and several other countries including the USA, Canada and Japan.
