Proud of my Profession in Care We are all living longer. While many of us continue living independently at home, there is a growing need from people who are unable to do so without support and care. But where are the carers? With over two thousand vacancies for care roles in Buckinghamshire, what can we do to address this issue? Care roles are undervalued by society This situation needs to change. Our Proud to work in Care campaign highlights why OUR staff actively choose to work in care. All our staff encourage others to move into the care sector and transform peoples’ lives. Caring offers opportunities to develop a rewarding career in a variety of specialist roles across the sector. Why care? • There is a growing need for people with the right attitude to deliver high quality care in the Wendover community and beyond. • You can make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people living locally. • You will gain the satisfaction that comes
