Early Education Center

6 Weeks - Pre-K

• Supporting cognitive, language, motor, and social-emotional development.

• Teaching a biblically-integrated curriculum through Bible stories, songs, and prayers.

DEVELOPMENT FOCUS

• Instructing children to communicate, resolve conflict, and demonstrate empathy.

• Encouraging children to love others as Jesus loves them.

COMMUNITY FOCUS SPIRITUAL FOCUS

• Engaging parents in fellowship activities, such as a Mother’s Day Picnic, Grandparents Chapel, Pre-K Graduation, and more.

• Encouraging children to develop an “others -focused” perspective.

• Fostering a sense of awe and wonder about the world, and introducing basic concepts of faith such as prayer and gratitude.

• Providing children with a holistic understanding of the world and their place in it as beloved creations of God.

• Providing integrated service opportunities through community ministries like “Church Under the Bridge.”

DEVELOPMENT FOCUS

• Providing grade-specific electives such as Art, Band, Chorus, Fitness, Spanish, Technology, and more.

• Cultivating a Christian environment where students can explore their identity in Christ, navigate friendships, and develop self-awareness and communication skills.

SPIRITUAL FOCUS

• Understanding your identity is found in Christ alone versus your peers or earthly possessions.

• Applying God’s word to everyday scenarios and referencing biblical values when making important decisions.

• Cultivating a community spirit and sense of belonging through time-honored high school traditions like Homecoming Spirit Week and The Red Sea Student Fan Section.

• Embracing Biblical principles of love, service, and fellowship through faith-based activities such as “Church Under the Bridge” and international missions trips.

DEVELOPMENT FOCUS

• Encouraging leadership development through various student clubs and organizations, championship athletic teams, and award-winning performing arts opportunities.

• Developing strong verbal and written communication skills through class presentations, writing assignments, worldview classes, and civil discourse.

SPIRITUAL FOCUS

• Prioritizing student ownership of their faith so they can define, apply, and defend their faith in words and actions.

ACADEMIC FOCUS

• Supporting students with average to above average IQs who have been diagnosed with mild to moderate learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, auditory processing disorders, cognitive processing disorders, and ADD or ADHD.

COMMUNITY FOCUS

• Fully integrating our Enrichment students into the larger school community, allowing them to individualize their schedule according to their specific learning needs.

DEVELOPMENT FOCUS

• Empowering students with learning differences by teaching them self-advocacy skills like articulating their needs, seeking assistance when necessary, and effectively communicating with teachers and parents about their learning challenges.

SPIRITUAL FOCUS

• Celebrating unique learning styles and understanding that these differences are part of God’s perfect design.

• Deepening students’ relationship with God by understanding that every student is created in God’s perfect likeness and has a unique purpose within God’s plan.

As proud members of the Piedmont Triad Athletic Conference (PTAC) and NCISAA Division 4, our athletes showcase skill, sportsmanship, and Trojan pride on the field and off. Fine Arts

For decades, Wesleyan Christian Academy has been synonymous with award-winning performing and fine arts programs. In every season, our fine arts students dedicate themselves to relentless practice, thoughtful critique, and continuous refinement of their craft, all in anticipation of stellar performances and art exhibitions. Offering a variety of options, from instrumental and vocal groups to visual art classes and theater ensembles, our students find diverse avenues to express their creativity.
