Start your morning off with some fun arts, crafts, outside play, physical literacy and more. Join us for the ½ day morning camp or sign up for another afternoon ½ day camp. This camp will include lots of quiet and energizing activities to have tons of fun.

Afternoon Adventure Camp

6-10 Years

Join us for the ½ day afternoon camp where we will have lots of fun. Some of our adventures will include arts, crafts, theme days, outside activities and more. Bring your creativity and energy and get read for lot of summer adventures.

Cottage Kids

5-6 Years (Must Have Completed K)

A super fun licensed camp for the younger camper who has completed Kindergarten! A little of this and a splash of that from arts, crafts, games, songs, sports, and lots of outside play. A camp full of activities geared to the right age. This camp will follow our weekly themes. New This year –2 different time options! You can register for 8am-5pm or 9am-5pm!

Cool Capers

5-6 Years (Must Have Completed K)

A super fun licensed camp for the younger camper who has completed Kindergarten! A little of this and a splash of that from arts, crafts, games, songs, sports and lots of outside play. A camp full of activities geared to the right age. This camp will follow our weekly themes.

Summer Explorers

6-8 Years

Ready to Explore? Come join us at Summer Explorers camp! The days will be filled with lots of sports, creative crafts, science experiments, games and more! Trekkers

7-9 Years

Put some outdoor trekking into your summer! Join our leaders for games, crafts, sports, theme weeks and more! Trekkers is a great way to make new friends, gain new experiences, and make the most out of summer! New This year – 2 different time options! You can register for 8am-5pm or 9am-5pm!

9-12 Years

Trail Blazers is geared towards older campers looking for a summer filled with adventure! This camp includes loads of games, the opportunity learn new skills & activities, and time to make lots of new friends. New This year – 2 different time options! You can register for 8am-5pm or 9am-5pm!

Visual And Performing Arts Aspiring Artists

Art Camp

6-8 Years and 9-12 Years

Join us for a fun filled week of art making. Kids will explore a variety of cool mediums and techniques while learning about and creating art inspired by a famous artist. In addition to learning about arts and crafts campers will spend time outdoors participating in fun games and activities.

Pottery Camp

9-12 Years

Are you ready for a pottery adventure? We will explore hand building techniques and skills to create all kinds of fun and functional pieces, while also spending time using the potter's wheel. Weekly themes include: Under the Sea, Myths & Magic, Animalia Dance Sampler Camp

6-9 Years

Discover many styles of dance including hip hop, jazz, and ballet. We will work on basic moves and choreography. Fun games, crafts and outdoor play round out our week of camp.

Young Actor's Film & TV Acting Camp

8-12 Years

Do you want to be on TV or in the movies? Let's explore the world of film acting! Work with trained actors to learn the basics of how to approach a script, build a character, and film an audition. Through play, improv games, and text analysis, you will become confident in how to approach a script and create a real audition. At the end of the week, you will receive a link to download your own self taped audition.

PJ MUSIC STUDIOS

Piano, Ukelele and Singing Camp

7-12 Years

This full day music camp offers a creative and fun approach to learning about music. In the morning, campers will learn about the piano while developing good technique, rhythm and basic note reading and composing skills. Lunch time includes supervised free play time. In the afternoon, children will master the Ukulele. Each class is tailored to the needs of the group.

PJ MUSIC STUDIOS

PJ Jammers and Guitar Camp

7-11 Years

A full day camp of guitar and PJ Jammers! In the morning, campers will learn about guitar in a fun camp setting. Bring your own guitar or arrange for a rental from PJ Music, 250-213-9343. Lunch time includes supervised free play. In the afternoon, young rockers rotate on drums, guitar, and keyboard for a unique band experience.

BYTE CAMP

Introduction to Coding

9-12 Years

Discover how much fun it is to build your own game! Students will be introduced to basic coding skills with easy to use drag-and-drop software, and get to use those skills to make their very own games. Students will also learn how to create their own 2D vector artwork to make characters and levels that are entirely their own. The final project is a game that you can access and play or proudly share with friends online.

BYTE CAMP

3D Animation

11-14 Years

Dreaming of a career with PIXAR? Ever wonder how those awesome 3D animated movies like Shrek, Toy Story and Frozen are made? Spend the week learning how by modeling, animating and telling your own stories in 3D. You'll use Blender, a wonderful (& free!) 3D software, to design characters that jump off the screen and then make them come alive by adding voices, soundtracks and completing your own animated short film. Final projects are usually group projects with each student contributing a character and a scene.

BYTE CAMP

Claymation Movie Production

9-12 Years

Make your own clay characters come to life, just like Shaun the Sheep! Participants will work to build their own clay characters, sets and props; develop their own script; shoot their movie scenes; and then learn to edit and add sounds and special effects to complete the whole project. Don't worry parents, there will be plenty of time devoted to outdoor games and activities!

2D Video Game Design

11-14 Years

Learn how to build a 2D game from the ground up using Godot, an awesome free software that uses a coding language similar to python. This is a coding camp, so be prepared to challenge yourself and learn some new skills. Time will be spent learning how to create advanced 2D vector artwork and animated character sprites to make your game look great. Some coding experience or Byte Camp's - Intro to Coding is a recommended as a prerequisite.

BYTE CAMP

Introduction to Coding Level 2

9-12 Years

Level-Up your coding and artwork skills in this fun and challenging camp. Students will take on advanced character movements and level design to make characters, levels and gameplay that are entirely unique . The final project is a game that you can access and play or proudly share with friends online. Previous coding experience in Scratch or Byte Camp's - Intro to Coding is recommended as a prerequisite.

BYTE CAMP

2D Animation on Tablet

9-12 Years

Turn your drawing skills into awesome animation skills on our tablets! We'll show you how to make beautiful animations as wild as your imagination. Participants will learn to storyboard and use some advanced animation skills to make their characters really come alive on the screen. Principles like Squash & Stretch, Anticipation and Exaggeration will be introduced in fun lessons and students will produce their own animated short films by the end of the week.

BYTE CAMP

Build an App

11-14 Years

Learn how to design, code, test and deploy your very own app! Use the gyroscope, tapping, and dragging or anything else you can think of to build your app from scratch. This is a coding camp, so be prepared to challenge yourself and learn some new skills. Each day a new project is introduced and students are taken through the steps of understanding and working with the new code ideas. Students will get to work on their own project ideas on the final two days. No previous experience is required however Byte Camp's 2D Video Game Design is recommended.

Music Video Production

9-12 Years

Make your own music and music video! Camp time will be split between digital music composition, video filming and editing. Use amazing software tools to craft your very own song from scratch. We will show you the basics on beats, baselines, chords and melodies so that your song will sound awesome. Experiment with video, special effects and editing techniques to make the video as cool as your tune.
