Requirements: A relatively new model of smartphone introduced in 2018 or later with at least two lenses. (e.g Apple 8plus or Google Pixel 2XL and all newer models)

Pottery Programs

Open Studio Time and Drop In Pottery (10 Visit Pass)

*Registration required* For those with pottery experience who are comfortable working independently in the studio. An attendant will be on duty but instruction is not provided. Only clay purchased through WSPR, and items created in our studio can be fired in our kiln. Orientation is required for new studio users. Pottery Orientation

An orientation is required for all those who are new to the studio and wish to use the studio for Open Studio Time. Previous pottery experience required.

Beginners Pottery Level 1

Enjoy and explore different throwing and hand building techniques while learning to wedge and center clay on the wheel. This class is for beginners and focuses on making functional pottery such as mugs, bowls, plates and more.

Beginners Pottery Level 2Throwing

For beginners who are ready to explore some advanced techniques in the studio. Enjoy and learn advanced throwing techniques from our skilled pottery instructor, Esther Drone.

Beginners Pottery Level 3Throwing

For beginners to intermediate potters who would like to explore advanced techniques and new skills on the wheel. Enjoy and learn advanced throwing techniques from our skilled pottery instructor, Esther Drone.

Pottery Night

*Choose between two types of workshops –Throwing on the Wheel or Hand Building

Join us for a creative evening where you will explore different throwing or hand building techniques depending on which night you choose. This two class workshop is designed for beginners, and you will create at least two items to take home. Total course fee includes all materials.

Private and Semi-Private Pottery Lessons and Workshops

Join Esther Drone in the new Centennial Centre Pottery Studio for a customized pottery lesson. Whether you’re a beginner wanting to try out throwing on the wheel or hand building, or an experienced potter looking for more advanced techniques, Esther can guide you through a wonderful lesson.

Performing Arts

Social Ballroom Level Il

A review of your Level 1 material will be followed by the introduction of new material in all six dances. Not only will you learn new patterns, but new techniques as well to help you look and feel your best on the dance floor. As ballroom dancing involves two people dancing together, please sign up with a partner.

Wedding Dance Preparation

Don’t leave the traditional first dance, as a newly married couple, to chance. We can help you prepare for this special event. We’ll cover how to approach the floor with poise, basic step patterns, how to move as one and how to finish with flair. As this is an activity that requires two people dancing together, please be sure to register with a partner.

Intermediate East Coast Swing

You have learned the basics and are ready for more! Join us as we introduce a selection of new figures and variations to increase your repertoire for added interest and fun. Please be sure to register with a partner.

NIA Dance

Dance has been proven to help cognitive function, as well as, condition the bodies heart, lungs, bones and muscles while just having fun moving to music. Nia is choregraphed and Free dance combined with Martial Arts and Healing. Nia improves circulation and helps maintain a healthy weight. Nia is great for any age, fitness level, or body type. Please bring a yoga mat.

Jazz for Beginners

Join us in a fun and supportive environment to learn the basics of Jazz. Develop technique with the help of our experienced instructor. Those new to Jazz and beginners who are seeking to improve their technique are welcome to join this class.

NEW! Aloha Fit Hawaiian Dance & Movement for Seniors

Hawaiian Hula Dance for Seniors is a fun dance and movement class that helps you exercise your mind, body, and soul. Tailored for seniors, come learn basic Hawaiian hand, feet, and body dance movements, teaching you fluidity of movement and grace. Sway and move to the music of Hawaii and Polynesia in this low-impact class that will keep you active, while improving your coordination, balance, and memory.

Lifelong Learning

French Language – Total Beginner A1.1

This class is for total beginners who have never been in contact with French. In this class, students will focus on basic communication around the topics of first interactions in French and discovering a francophone city. (Textbooks are mandatory)

French Language – Beginner A1.2

This class is a continuation of our total beginners class for those who have never been in contact with French. In this class, students will focus on basic communication around the topics of talking about themselves and their day-to-day life. (Textbooks are mandatory)

Alliance Française

French Language – Beginner A1.3

This class is for beginners who have been exposed to some French in the past, and can already introduce themselves, talk about their hobbies, and know some forms of politeness in French. In this class, students will learn basics in French around the topics of leisure, planning activities, and travel. (Textbooks are mandatory)
