Learning Outcomes:
In this training, we will talk about behavior as a form of communication to better understand what provokes challenging behavior in children as well as what routines, practices and discussions you can implement to promote positive behavior. We will also define what Restorative Practices are and how they are beneficial in forming meaningful relationships that promote positive behavior.
In this training we will define Restorative Practice and Restorative Practice strategies in promoting positive behavior in the classroom. | In this training we will distinguish how challenging behaviors that are frequently labeled as misbehaviors are really a form of child communication. | In this training we will demonstrate how implementing restorative practices promotes positive behaviors.

This workshop will go over important details and what do to in case of an active shooter. Understandably this is a scary situation to discuss, but the importance of knowing what to do during this type of emergency during this day and age is vital.

This fully interactive session will provide guidance, tips and tricks for shooting compelling and candid content on site at local YMCA branches or other facilities. The emphasis will be on gathering personal stories that serve to propel the YMCA's mission via video storytelling.
Participants will gain practical knowledge and instruction on gathering compelling social media content.
