Youth Counselling and Parent Teen Mediation are available to support family relationships and youth connection to their home.

She said the FRA is also involved in many community service activities. “For example, we offer something we call the Learning Series each year. Staff members take turns offering their expertise in educational presentations that are offered to the public in the evenings. These are posted on our website and they are well attended.” She pointed out that they are a founding committee member for the Beach Day Committee which plans the annual event at Qualicum Beach each July. She added, the FRA sponsors professional development events for the service providers in the community. “The last one was a workshop on Infant Mental Health that was held at Tigh-NaMara. We are currently planning a one day event entitled IPV360 which offers an overview of intimate partner violence and how it affects the community.
