ASSISTED STRETCHING - PNF STRETCH

Certified Flexologist Charla Weipz will be offering assisted stretching, also known as PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) stretching, which is a technique that uses natural reflexes to allow muscles to relax as they are being stretched. This specialized technique protects the natural reflexes that trigger additional tightness, to calm the muscles to prevent injury. Which result in a safer, deeper, and more efficient stretch. Assisted stretching benefits include but aren’t limited to an increase in flexibility, improved range of motion, reduction in muscle and joint pain, improvement in posture, improvement in mood and reduction in stress held in the body. Being physically flexible is incredibly important for athletic & nonathletic body types. It allows for freedom of movement in your daily life, as well as helping prevent or reduce injury during exercise. One of the best ways to increase your flexibility is by stretching. This service is provided (like a massage) in a private one on one setting. Preformed by a certified Flexologist.
