atercross was founded in the early 1970s. It was pioneered by a hand full of brave people who thought it would be a good idea to take their snow mobiles across open water. This such event took place in a small town in northwest Wisconsin. These people lined up on a small island on Memory lake in the middle of Grantsburg WI and took a 300 foot run on the island to get there machines up to speed and would hit the water to see if they could make that 600 foot run across the water to make it to the south shore of Memory lake.
After some years of success it brought out more curiosity of these your pioneers or watercross to see who could make that first right hand turn and go further down the lake. After these attempts became successful the birth of watercross oval racing came about. 39 years ago this small town started its first watercross race and over the years this race has built into one of the biggest snowmobile spectacles on the planet earth. This race is known as the Watercross World Championship. It will draw in upwards of 15 to 20,000 spectators in a weekend.

With this race and others held back in the late 70s and early 80s a collective group of people headed by the Maki family got together and formed what is known as the International Wtaercross Association. The IWA was founded in 1988 and has sanctioned hundreds of events over its 27 years in existence. The IWA is a driver run organization with elected board members and officers. 16 years ago I joined the IWA and have been hooked . If you are at all interested in taking on an extreme unique

JIM DUNN RACING MARKS RETURN TO RACING IN DENVER
The NHRA Mopar Mile-High Nationals is a milestone race for Jim Dunn Racing in 2015. Last year they missed the event, as team owner Big Jim underwent successful colon cancer surgery. Jim is now in great health and the team returns to Denver this weekend with USD, Inc. on board as their primary sponsor. “We are grateful to be returning to Bandimere Speedway this year after being away last year,” said Jim Dunn Racing Business Manager, Jon Dunn. “The fans here in Denver are amazing and very supportive, so we decided this was the perfect race to debut our new Jim Dunn Racing: The Legend Continues T-Shirt.” Fans can purchase the new shirt at the Modern Outlaw Apparel trailer located in the Nitro pits while attending the Mopar MileHigh Nationals this weekend. PAGE 8
The team will be running the USD, Inc Mopar body, which they debuted at the Phoenix race in February. (It also made a brief appearance at the NHRA Kansas Nationals, when a small crack in the ALO Drink body forced a last minute swap.) USD, Inc is the Southwest’s leading distributor of aftermarket Ford, General Motors and Chrysler original equipment parts, and has been providing top quality service to their customers for over 40 years. While in Denver, Jim Dunn Racing will join USD employees at their offices for a lunch meet-and-greet on Thursday, and will also host more than 400 employees at the Mopar Mile-High Nationals throughout the weekend.

CRUISIN’ TO CONTINUE THE MIDWEST’S MOST UNIQUE CAR SHOW - TAKE ME TO THE RIVER! Since Cruisin’ on the Croix’s founding, Scott Zahren had helped grow the Midwest’s most unique car show from its founding to the summer event it is today. Because this free show has no fees or year restrictions, Cruisin’ on Croix brings hundreds of cars to the banks of the beautiful St. Croix River in Stillwater on Wednesdays throughout the summer. However, this event almost came to an end earlier this year. When the founder and director, Scott Zahren, passed away suddenly last spring, the show’s continuation was in jeopardy. But in stepped Tom Brewitz of Cornermark Publishing and Frank Fabio of Maple Island Brewing. Brewitz and Fabio, realizing the importance of the show to car owners and the city of Stillwater, decided to take over to keep the show from hitting the brakes. Brewitz, who had already been promoting the show for the last few years, was eager to see the area’s finest vehicles keep rolling down to the river front. He and Fabio hit the throttle and worked quickly to line up sponsors. AUG 2015
Now in its seventh year, Cruisin’ on the Croix is as popular as ever because car owners are welcome to bring their newer muscle car, racing machine, classic or vintage automobile to the Wednesday’s evening events. Yes – model years are welcome as long as they have something special: incredibly powerful, limited editions, show worthy or a car that is totally eye candy and makes everyone say ‘wow!’
Cruisin’ on the Croix. Robinson was a natural judge to present that week’s Best in Show Awards. Valued sponsors award winners with prizes and Brewitz presents them with copies of his book, Vintage & Classic Auto Images from Cornermark®. Also, Frank Fabio offers that night’s runner ups with a growler filled with a special brew from his Maple Island Brewery. And yes, if you are in The Garden at this year’s Minnesota State Fair, you can enjoy Frank’s Maple Island’s Two Headed Goose Pretzel beer.
The ruckus and rumble of Cruisin’ on the Croix excites car enthusiasts and area businesses who are thrilled to have these unique vehicles come “We get cars from the western suburbs to as to town. Many of the cars at Cruisin’ have crazy far away as Eau Claire,” said an enthusiastic horsepower under their hoods – with engines Brewitz, who also puts the show’s marketing so enormous hoods and frames are modified materials together on radio, in print and on to the max. Roaring engines and chirping tires Facebook. “The outpouring of support from gets everyone’s adrenaline going and there is no car owners, at the Stillwater Gazette, Chamber shortage of beefy autos for speed lovers. Muscle of Commerce, Stillwater Visitor Bureau, cars, dream cars and antique vehicles adorn the restaurants, auto shops and even Stillwater’s lots that line the banks of the St. Croix River in radio station has been phenomenal!” downtown Stillwater. The day of the July 22nd show, Robinson and In June, Brewitz welcomed Scott Robinson Brewitz appeared live on Stillwater’s “Club 12from Wheels of Thunder for a great night at 20”, KLBB (1220 AM) radio’s The Morning WWW.WHEELSOFTHUNDER.NET PAGE 13
Show with Jeff Petersen to talk about their affection for cool cars, Cruisin’ on the Croix and the Third Annual Wheels of Thunder’s Motorsports Show at Canterbury. Robinson expressed his love of races and reflected at how much the audience for his magazine has continued to grow in popularity the last few years as youth become more involved. As an artist, Brewitz shared his appreciation for how sculptural elements of a car’s contour deliver aesthetically pleasing forms. A recent winner of Best in Show was a loaded 1932 Stutz V16. Legend has it, back in the ‘30s, a traveler in a Stutz Bearcat was barreling though Iowa at 100 mph going from Chicago to Lincoln, Nebraska when a cop pulled him over demanding $50 for speeding. The driver counted out $100 and told the Iowa policeman, “This is for my return trip to Chicago when I pass back this way”, and prepaid the homebound fine! Stretching from PD Pappy’s bar at the north end of town to the Water Street Inn next to Stillwater’s iconic lift bridge in the south, older models, racing machines, vintage treasures, street rods and newer hot rods fill the lots in this gorgeous river setting. Drivers of the first 200 cars receive free dash plaques, but be warned: the supply is often exhausted early for this popular event. The official start time is 4:00 PM, but many owners bring their vehicles in far earlier to park in a good spot, catch dinner at an outdoor patio and enjoy the day in the ‘Birthplace of Minnesota’. In the past years, the show ran every Wednesday. This year, it is scheduled on
select Wednesdays (see schedule below) to accommodate some local concerns. “We really need to bring the show back to every week,” said a determined Frank Fabio Cruisin’s codirector, “The show pays for the parking spots. Local businesses see increased traffic at their shops. Our sponsors benefit from our promotions and loyal patrons. There is nothing on Wednesday anywhere to compete with it.” Many show goers and car owners have pledged to validate that it is a benefit to city to return to the every-Wednesday format. If the breathtaking St. Croix River backdrop is complete with paddlewheel riverboats and an occasional hot air balloon flyover isn’t enough, each event offers live rock music with local bands. Sponsor restaurants offer specials and discounts for anyone coming to Stillwater for the show. Be sure to check out the unique brew pubs, restaurants and shops. One such stop, Candyland, drives their vintage popcorn truck down, a 1915 Ford Model TT offering sweet treats. Smalley’s Caribbean Barbeque, Charlie’s Pub, Leo’s Malt Shop, Whitey’s, Pub 112, Rafters, Brines and The Green Room, are just some of the unique places within the vicinity. Cruisin’ on the Croix also features its very own Taco Palace gal who continues today serving up favorites just as she did at the very first show seven years ago. Amphicars are known to visit the show, then down to the shore, then into the river to make waves! The great variety of cars has included a three wheel Morgan, 1905 Stevens-Duryea, 1932 Auburn, multiple antique fire trucks, a

1940s Swiss Military Transporter, Packards, early pickup models, Jaguar, Studebakers and even a futuristic Polaris Slingshot. A Corvette Club entourage makes its way to the show on occasion and each Wednesday becomes a unique event. Hot Challengers, Super Bees, Camaros, Chevelles, Firebirds, Marlins, and other well-liked models are plentiful. Car clubs are always welcome and efforts are made to block off a lot portion to keep their cars together. Call ahead for more information 651-253-3699 or 612-741-9640 to make arrangement accommodations. Tourists, locals and area car enthusiasts alike can continue to enjoy scenic Stillwater and Midwest’s most unique car show. //

St. Paul, Minn. (July 28, 2015) – The weekend’s heat and humidity in St. Paul, Minnesota was no match for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Street Machine Nationals fans. The event drew more than 50,000 spectators and 7,000 high horsepower muscle machines from all over the country to the scenic Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Next year’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Street Machine Nationals is scheduled for July 15-17, 2016. Power Nation TV Crews roamed the fairgrounds shooting event coverage for the October 4, 2015 episode of “Detroit Muscle TV” with host Joe Elmore and the editors of Power & Performance News. Street Rod Life and Gearheads4Life shot features for their daily online posts and their print coverage for later issues. “From professionally built street machines to show stopper muscle cars, our crew was entirely impressed with the quality of show cars and performance vehicles on-site this weekend,” said Joe Elmore, host of “Detroit Muscle,” a part of the Power Nation TV block of programs on CBS Sports, NBC Sports and Spike TV. “The Minnesota State Fairgrounds is a gorgeous facility and was the perfect backdrop for this huge, epic event. Our October 4, 2015 episode featuring the Street Machine Nationals will showcase all aspects of the event from show cars to the Borla Street Machine Challenge including the Hotchkis Autocross and the Lucas Oil Dyno.” The Street Machine Nationals event weekend was packed with driving events geared toward showcasing power and performance. Borla Exhaust hosted the Street Machine Challenge, a competition pitting the handling, braking and horsepower generating abilities of some of the top performance cars in the country against each other. Jeff Smith, Editor

“The Borla Exhaust Street Machine Challenge was a huge success this year,” said Jeff Smith, editor of Power & Performance News. “We had more participants this year than we’ve had in years past and the competitors loved the Hotchkis Autocross, the side-by-side Stop Box event and the Lucas Oil Dyno Challenge. I can’t wait to run this program again next year!” Fans enjoyed the tight turns and tough competition on the Hotchkis Sport Suspension Autocross course. This year’s course was three times larger than in years past and hosted the “Hotchkis Cup” competition. The Lucas Oil Dyno Challenge hosted the high horsepower challenge on Saturday showcasing the rear wheel torque and horsepower generating abilities of some of the top cars from the region. C.J. DeStafano’s ‘63 Valiant topped the weekend with a 1710 hp pull during Saturday’s High Horsepower Challenge. Fans were directed to the COMP Cams Main Stage to see if they had won one of thousands of dollars in prizes and giveaways from Street Machine Nationals sponsors. The stage also hosted the Miss Street Machine Nationals contest where Mound, Minnesota native, Ona Smart was crowned 2015 “Miss” winner. The auto auction on-site Saturday was hosted by Spring Grove Auctions. Additional features included the COMP Cams Engine Builder Duel, over 40 pro-judged show car awards, Editor’s Choice Awards and the smokin’ tires and burnin’ rubber of three days of Burnout Contests.

I have now made every NHRA race within several hundred miles a priority even if it conflicts with other high priority activities. In the past I had second thoughts of coming to the closest track, Joliet because of iffy weather, traffic woes or indifference of racing buddies. Now I am an opinion leader and crave the speed, Nitro buzz and proximity of me to 10,000 horsepower, whether shooting photos from the starting line amidst the crowd in the pits. This 18th annual Joliet/Chicago event had it’s ups and downs for weather. The moderate to almost too cool temperatures to expect this time of year produced many very fast elapsed times and top end speeds. These conditions were welcomed as an opening Friday for qualifying, but were long gone by midday on Saturday when partly cloudy turned to overcast to then drizzle. The traditional Saturday pancake and orange juice event put on by native son TJ Zizzo is getting
more widely known. TJ also has set up small bleachers where he educated the fans about the mechanical parts of his Top Fuel Dragster, his early interest in the sport and his evolution to his current position among the elite men and women in NHRA Drag Racing. TJ makes the complicated understandable to all ages and especially the younger ones as they see this as a competitive family activity, all in terms they can understand both in down time and in the high anxiety preciously short turnarounds during live TV broadcasts.
The area surrounding the Route 66 nationals is abuzz with areas for the serious tech minded people in the racing business along with fan favorite Army-sponsored physical fitness challenges, Traxxas radio controlled car demonstrations and food vendors who came from miles around. Free Mello Yello samples were welcomed refreshments during this incredible weekend. The crowds were troopers on Saturday as the rain interrupted the natural flow of events that later in the evening finally cut off the Q4 session that non qualified participants cursed.
The Jeg’s All Stars bonus competition was a gathering that took place at the Route 66 in nationwide proportions in a Sportsman competition second to none as the individual leaders in each division battled it out. An awards presentation on the starting line on Saturday was fitting to all the winners in their classes.
The weather was to change on Sunday to third set of variables for expert crew chiefs to power their machines down the Quarter Mile, well, almost quarter mile to the finish line. //

Captain Eric Evans has been living on the water his whole life. He grew up on the shores of Lake Erie and found his way south to the Florida Keys. That’s where you can find the best charter fishing business, I feel confident saying, in the world. Fishy Business Charters gives first-timers and pros alike not only the most mouth-watering fish in the sea, but experiences that are addicting to look back on and relive. From deep sea fishing, inshore fishing, back country fishing and everything in between, Captain Eric takes anglers on his 31 foot Yellowfin Charter machine for the most personable fishing experience in all of Key West!
WOT // DID YOU GROW UP FISHING? CAPTAIN ERIC \\ I grew up on the shores of Lake Erie in Avon Lake, Ohio. Luckily, my family loved to be on the water and do anything watersports related including boating, sailing, water skiing, scuba diving, and of course, my passion, fishing. Living very close to the water (I could watch the lake from my bedroom window) and spending summers on the family boat, my parents instilled in my brother and me a deep respect for the water and boating safety. In short, boating and being on the water have been a part of my life since I was born. HOW DID YOUR CAREER START OUT? Making the move from Ohio to Key West was an adventure, as I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do. One thing I did know is that being on the water was my top priority. I found an opportunity selling
PAGE 38
watersport activities and I had to take the job. After a month or so, I had saved up enough to buy my first Keys boat. I know what you are thinking at this point…I must be a damn good salesman to afford a boat after a month of work! TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FIRST BOAT! It was a 17 foot pro-line with a 140 Johnson Looper engine. I think it was a 1987 with so many hours on it that it was doomed to self-destruct 10 years before I even bought it. I took that boat everywhere…learning the waters of the lower keys, catching fish, and learning fish behavior by scuba diving on my days off. Shortly after that, some friends asked if I wanted to chip in to take a charter deep sea fishing. After that trip, there was no turning back. I knew I wanted to be a fisherman. WHAT BOAT DID YOU CHOOSE FOR YOUR BUSINESS? Yellowfin has been the boat of my dreams since I first saw it in a magazine. I love the liens and the comfortable ride. Many people that go on it and know boats say it rides like it’s a much bigger boat. It just has the feel of being on a bigger boat. It draws only 1.6 feet so it is versatile…I can get into shallow water or run offshore and be safe and comfortable. WHAT’S YOUR STORY OF YOUR FIRST DAY FISHING IN THE KEYS? We were set to leave the doc at 9AM on a 43 Torres named the Eva Marie. We jumped on board and set out to catch some offshore fish. Of course, at this point, I knew little about offshore fishing in deep waters, so I was up on the bridge asking all of the
FIND US ON FACEBOOK “WHEELS OF THUNDER”
infamous questions that I get asked now…”what’s the biggest seas you have been in?” Captain James was very knowledgeable and grew up in Key West. After a short ride, we slowed down and he told the mate Barry we were ready to fish. I climbed down on the deck, eager to learn what was going on. Barry showed me what he was doing and made it look so simple. We had five lines in the water trolling at this point. I remember asking myself, why only five lines? On Lake Erie we would troll five to eight lines on a much smaller boat?! Just as I was about to ask him this question, I heard all of this yelling from the bridge and see Barry frantically grabbing a rod and messing with it. He was dropping back the bait for a sailfish. A few short seconds later and I have the rod in my hand while everyone on board is screaming at me to reel! I think I was in shock. I had never seen a fish this big jumping and tail walking on top of the water. After a long run (which seemed much longer than it was), the fish outsmarted me, got wrapped up in a crab trap and pulled the hook. After that, we spent time telling fishing stories and getting to know each other. Now I understood why you can’t have too many lines in the water. By 10AM I was hooked! DID YOU WALK AWAY WITH ANY FISH ON YOUR FIRST TRIP? A couple of hours later with no action, James suddenly yells down from the bridge that there are birds diving straight ahead. Barry starts moving the rods around and before we know it, all the reels are screaming line out. All five of us are hooked up with Black Fin Tuna! We continued to be hooked up for the rest of the day with just enough time to let our AUG 2015
arms get (barely) rested before we had another fish on the line. By the end of the day I was exhausted, but knew I wanted more. HOW DID YOU LEARN THE ROPES? A few days later I went back to the Eva Marie, and told them I wanted to learn and become a mate. They graciously took me under their wing and taught me many tricks of the trade. I took any hours working they could give me, mostly running the deck when one of the guys needed a day off. They made mentors and a great team, and still do to this day. I count them among some of my closest friends. The owner and crew of the Eva Marie have had a huge impact on my life and launching my career. In fact, Captain Barry, Sr., even married my wife and me on the boat a couple of years later.
a blast. Can you take me in now?” For me, a good day of fishing is if we can catch what the customer wants and have some action along the way. My best experience is if we can have a fish on before the angler starts to think that the bite might be over. THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO TRAVEL A LONG WAY TO YOUR PART OF THE COUNTRY FOR FISHING…WHY SHOULD THEY CHOOSE YOUR BUSINESS ABOVE THE COMPETITION?
I have fished in over 2,000 feet of water.
I truly believe we are all out on the water for the same reason – to put our customers on fish! No one can guarantee fish, and I would be cautious of anyone that did. For example, about two years ago I had a morning half day trip for Dolphin. We came in around noon and had a great day. We kept 10 fish and threw back another 18 that were all keepers. We had our limit for the customers within 25 minutes of starting fishing. A guy walked up and saw the catch and said, “I have been watching you come in every day with fish and your customers are always happy and taking their fish to get cooked up at Dante’s – can we go out right now?” I said yes, and feeling a bit cocky, we took off back to the same spot where I found the fish just a few hours before. It is now 2PM and we have not had a bite. I can see the fish schooling around the weed line but they will not eat! By this time I was more than a little embarrassed. How could I be so cocky? Finally, after three hours, we have a double hook up and land two fish for the trip. Not a bad day in retrospect as we caught fish, but it was a bad day compared to the morning! We can’t control the fish. Since that humbling trip, I have never been cocky about fishing. There are many boats and captains to choose from. The way I look at it is I am in business for the future. I want my customers to come back year after year, so I will do whatever it takes to show them a good time.
WHAT ARE SOME MAJOR DIFFERENCES BETWEEN FISHING IN FRESH VS. SALT WATER?
HOW MANY FISH ON AVERAGE DO CUSTOMERS CATCH ON YOUR TRIPS?
The fight is the major difference. I don’t recall ever using line bigger than a 10 pound line in fresh water. My typical line class is 15 pounds to 80 pounds in saltwater depending on the targeted species. I would say an eight pound fresh water fish fights like a one pound salt water fish.
There are no guarantees in this business, and it all depends on what we are fishing and the time of the year. If you call and tell me when you are planning your trip I can tell you what typically is biting that time of year. I know the importance of the catch and work diligently to make sure that we have the best opportunity to catch fish.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE FISHY BUSINESS IN KEY WEST, FLORIDA? Key West is unique from other places because we have the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. Depending on which direction I want to head out, I can be in any body of water within 10 minutes. We also have great back country fishing on the flats for Tarpon, Bonefish, and Permit. There are so many species to catch and so many ways to target them. Spin tackle, conventional tackle, and fly fishing. The huge variety of experiences makes each and every fishing trip in Key West a unique experience. There are several of my repeat customers that I have been guiding for years that comment each fishing trip is a new experience. HOW DEEP IS THE DEEPEST WATER YOU FISH IN?
WHAT ARE THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER FISH TO CATCH? I would say most people that come down for Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish), Gouper, and Snapper to eat, but then want something bigger like a Sailfish or Marlin for bragging rights. WHAT ARE SOME INDICATORS OF A GOOD DAY TO GO FISHING? That is a very tough question to answer. Some people think a good day of fishing is filling the cooler full of fish, while for others, it is catching one fish that has been eluding them for many years. I have had the angler that literally expects to catch every fish in the world on a single trip, to an angler that caught a small snapper, took a picture, and said, “Thank you! I had AUG 2015
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR A FIRST TIME FISHER? Going back to my first charter experience, I remember taking it all in. I was just happy to be on the water. The water color alone is mesmerizing. Smelling the salt air and watch the sea life around you is something to remember. Don’t stress about catching a fish as the captain will take that responsibility on for you. Usually the people that are relaxed and having a good time will catch more fish. I take people of all skill sets from first timers to experts. We will find a way to guide you to getting hooked up. The important thing is to not be intimidated by the experience and not be afraid to ask the “stupid questions.” That’s the only way to learn. (Although I did have someone ask me once if the water went all around the island…)
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE FISHY BUSINESS FISHING STORY? I have had such a great time with so many customers that I don’t have a favorite story, just a number of great stories. I can tell you that recently I had a father and son come on the boat. The son is seven years old and his dad called me and said he wanted a full day charter offshore. I told him that the offshore bite was really slow the last couple of days, and I was concerned about keeping his son interested for eight hours. He said they have fished down here many times and his son really wanted a Sailfish so let’s go out and try. I agreed, and we left the doc at 7AM. After talking on the way out, I found myself a little worried. They have been coming down to Key West for the last three years and have always caught fish with another captain. Usually in June I would be fairly confident that we would hook up with some Dolphin and other species, but the last two weeks had been slow…not just for me, but everyone I talked to was having a hard time, so we keep on pressing on. I am just about to give up, not having a hit at all, when suddenly a rod gets bent. We see Black Fin Tuna busting the surface and the line is screaming out. I know it’s a Black Fin Tuna…they dig deep and pull hard. After five minutes we pull the hook. It’s a big letdown. That might be the only bite we get all day with the way it has been. Max, the son, gives his dad the third degree about losing fish and we all laugh it off. After that, we were hooked up every ten minutes or so. Max is landing fish left and right with a big smile on his face. His dad is watching with a proud look on his face. We were “in the fish” and having a blast! We had about an hour left of the trip and decided to go for something bigger like a Marlin or Sailfish. After some time had passed, we saw a Sailfish free jumping. Turning the boat in the direction of the splash, we had another Sailfish hitting our baits. We dropped the bait and he was hooked! Max was on top of the Tuna Tower so his dad got the rod and started fighting it. After 10 minutes we lost the fish. Max looked up at his dad with disbelief. We all started laughing and picking on him in all good sport. We had a very successful day with lots of laughs and good stories. PERHAPS THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION…WHAT’S THE BIGGEST FISH YOU’VE EVER CAUGHT? Probably a 10-12 foot long 350 pound Blue Marlin leaving Key West heading towards Panama on a boat deliver. Another long fishing story.
Head down to Key West to catch some of the most amazing fish, sunsets, and experiences with Captain Eric Evans any time of the year and bask in the neverending summer! You can check out some of the big catches and book your day on the water with Fishy Business Charters. //

Rounds one and two of the Terracross Championship kicked off August 25th and 26th at Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego, California. Crowds were entertained and packed in to watch an action packed two days of competition. Mystik Lubricants / ATVriders. com Mickey Thomas won Round One of the Terracross Championship Doubleheader weekend at Del Mar Fairgrounds in California. Cole Cottew finished second, ahead of defending 2014 TerraCross Champion, #1 Jason Luburgh. Colten Moore and Cody Rahders rounded out the top five. Walker Evans Racing’s RJ Anderson bounced back from a crash in the first round to take the second round win during the doubleheader opening rounds. LSR / FOX’s Branden Sims finished second, ahead of defending Terracross Champion, Jason Luburgh, who equaled his third-place finish in round one to take over the early points lead in the 2015 Terracross Championship. Race two of the Terracross Pro RZR doubleheader was held on the same technical course as round one, which was extremely challenging with the 4WD disabled on all the Polaris RZR XP 1000 machines since the differentials kept breaking during practice. Even after several restarts that tightened up the field, Anderson was up to the challenge and held the lead from start to finish to secure the round two win. “This is like déjà vu from AUG 2015
