Fifth Grade Bootcamp

Miss Lee and Mrs David will do a quick review of some key concepts we learned the past school year. This will allow students to come back to school with a bit more CONFIDENCE and EASE! The three subjects we’ll focus on will be math, grammar, and reading. Each day, campers will go through some RIGOROUS training, reminding them of skills they learned, including; multiplication, division, fractions, and MORE! We will go back over pattern 1, 2, and 3 sentences to help “oil” those rusty grammar brains! Students will be reminded of the reading areas we covered last school year (character, theme, cause/effect, similes, metaphors, alliteration, and the list goes on!)! But wait… there’s MORE! Former fifth graders will help show their successors some helpful things about what to expect, organization tips, and get the campers EXCITED about the upcoming school year! Our Educational & Engaging curriculum uses dance, flash cards, and props to teach vocabulary terms while working on reading readiness. Your dancer will learn classical dance techniques and ballet positions to help start a strong foundation in their love of dance. Classes will consist of stretching, warm-ups, technical moves, across the floor, and creative movement.
Gymnastics

Partnered with GymGo Kids: We will bring a Flipping Good Time to your Tiny Tumbler! We offer a beginner gymnastics class where the focus is on skill development, increased coordination and balance, and increased confidence! Our Educational & Engaging curriculum uses gymnastics, flash cards, and props to teach vocabulary terms while working on reading readiness. Our highly experienced instructors bring portable gymnastics equipment: bars, balance beams, mini trampoline and other special shaped equipment to teach gymnastics to children. Each session includes warm up, circuit training, tumbling and gymnastics progressions, conditioning, and cool down exercises. Classes are designed to increase strength, flexibility while learning skills and having FUN!
Animals in Art

Camp Wolfpup

Camp Wolfpup is a chance for those littlest members of the pack and wanna-be members of the Wolfpack to try their hand at Whitefield! It is open to ages 18 months to rising Kindergarten. There will be a Bible story, crafts, games, and plenty of free play time both indoors and outdoors! Please send your child with sunscreen and bug spray already applied and pack a snack and a water bottle If they are still in diapers, please pack those as well. Drop off is between 8:45-9:00 and pick up is between 11:45-12:00. Camp Wolfpup is only Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to allow time for our little friends to rest between. This is a highlight every summer for the younger siblings who are itching for a taste of being a part of the WolfPack!

Wolfpack speed and agility camp is designed specifically to help your son or daughter improve in areas of foot speed, coordination, strength and quickness. Students will work to develop basic movements and vital motor skills that will serve as an excellent platform and foundation for greater speed and agility as your child grows in the future.

Basketball Camp (Girls)

Whitefield Girls' Basketball Camp is a 3-hour day camp that utilizes small-group training sessions as well as position-focused drills to teach players the fundamentals of basketball. Sessions will focus on shooting, dribbling, passing, defense and more. Campers will get to apply the skills learned in fun, appropriate games and competitions daily. All campers will receive a post-camp analysis report with coach feedback and important takeaways.
Please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers and bring a water bottle.
Wrestling Camp

Cheer Camp I

Is your daughter interested in learning cheer basics or refining her cheerleading skills? This camp will offer instruction on correct formation of motions, introduce new, exciting chants and cheers, and work on basic stunts. We will also instruct tumbling at an appropriate level based on individual strengths and abilities. The girls would also learn a dance throughout the week. Lastly, campers will learn how to celebrate and encourage school spirit AND one another through daily devotions and team-building activities.

Fast and Furious: Track and Field Camp

Whitefield Sports Camp II

The varsity football WolfPack coaching staff is excited to offer a junior football camp this summer Both new and experienced players are encouraged to come out and have a blast while learning the game of football. Campers will not need pads as the camp will center around objectives, skills, technique and fundamentals

SWAT (Student WolfPack Athletic Training)

Does your child have an interest in athletic training or the field of sports medicine? Come take a closer look and learn many of the skills and techniques used to get athletes back on to the playing field as quickly as possible. Over the course of the camp, students will learn the many taping techniques used in the athletic training room as well as basic first aid and CPR certification. We will also cover the many functions of the equipment used in athletic training as well as what to do in emergency situations Students will also learn extensively about the profession of athletic training, the many areas of employment in the field, as well as educational requirements to become a certified athletic trainer Camp is for all levels of S.W.A.T members and will have different education sessions
for novice as well as experienced students. Some field trips may also be scheduled! Come experience the fun and excitement of Whitefield athletic training camp!
Cost includes cost of lunch all 4 days, t-shirt, taping supplies, CPR certification, and field trips.
