HEARTBEAT

October 21 - November 3, 2012

A Note from the Pastor Christians throughout our country are involved in a forty day prayer vigil for God to extend His mercy to our nation, its leaders, and its citizens. What a privilege it is to be able to cry out to the Creator and Sustainer of the entire world and to know that He hears His people. What we want is His will. If that means He gives to us the grace of spiritual revival and a return to the principles of our founding fathers - so be it. If He chooses to grant the grace of endurance as our nation turns further away from Him - He is more than able to do that. He holds our life in His loving hands, and He will meet our needs “according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.” Let us look into God’s Word today and be encouraged and enabled.

Love in Jesus, Brother Jimmy

Isaiah 40:6-8 A voice was saying, “Cry out!” Another said, “What should I cry out?” “All humanity is grass, and all its goodness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flowers fade when the breath of the Lord blows on them; indeed, the people are grass. The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever.”
