A Note from the Pastor Here we are at the beginning of December. If there is a time of the year that speaks of hope, it is the month in which we join together to celebrate the earthly birth of our heavenly King. The psalmist captures the spirit of Christmas as he speaks to his own soul. I find this message very helpful to me. Perhaps you can also identify with it. “Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him.” Psalm 62:5 Let us take time—make time—to obey our Saviour when He says: “Come to me, I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28, paraphrase). True hope and rest come only from the Lord. He came to us, now He calls us to come to Him. May we do that as we worship Him today.

Love in Jesus, Brother Jimmy

Rest in God alone, my soul, for my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will not be shaken. My salvation and glory depend on God, my strong rock. My refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. Psalm 62:5-8 HCSB
