With your support, Whitesburg Christian Academy will continue to provide a quality Christian education for generations to come. The Academy is a kingdom ministry of Whitesburg Baptist Church. We have come to what our pastor, Dr. Jimmy Jackson, has referred to as a “crisis of faith.” It is our belief that you share our vision to enhance and expand the kingdom ministry of Whitesburg Christian Academy. A Note from the Pastor We find ourselves praying that God will give wisdom to our doctors to diagnose properly the medical condition of a family member or friend. We also pray for wisdom for the leaders of our city, state, and nation. I have had many people voice the prayer that the Lord will give me wisdom as I lead our church. Wisdom is very important at some critical places in our lives. The writer of Proverbs 3:13 declares: “How blessed (happy) is the man who finds wisdom.” Want to have real happiness and joy in life? Start looking diligently for wisdom. One may ask: “Where do I start?” Good question! God’s answer is clear and concise. “The fear, reverence, respect for, honor of, obedience to, and love for God is the beginning of wisdom.” God is the beginning point and only Jesus can bring us to God. Trust Him to save you and if you are already saved, trust Him to lead you as you spend time in prayer and in His Word. In a world as dark as ours, we need this God-given wisdom and God is ready to provide it.
