HOW DO YOU DESIGN THE LIBRARY OF THE FUTURE?
DIGITAL LIBRARY OF THE FUTURE The digital library of the future accommodates an intense and ongoing focus on how the community learns and how libraries create and share knowledge in the era of digital technology and collaboration. The di gital li br ar y of t he f utur e n eeds a br eakthrough and courage, as a visual statemen t of a br ave goal: to be a pl ace not of the past but of the f utur e, a place wher e our staff , communi ty, and partners can gather to r es ear ch , lear n , e xperiment, collaborate, and st r engthen knowledge f or ms a lo ng t radi tion of leading transfor mative chan ge. A great research library is more than collections, technologies, and comfortable workspaces-a great library inspires. Its architecture and technology create spaces that encourage collaboration, reflection, and creativity. At the core of the vision for the Digital Library is the ability for our staff, community, and partners to immerse themselves in interactive computing, multimedia creation, and large-scale visualization - tools that are enabling revolutionary ways to see and use information.

The 3D Scanning Studio provides support for multiple methods for digitizing physical objects of varying size, producing 3D models that can be used for 3D printing, game design, virtual and augmented reality projects, and more. The Studio supports 3D scanning, which uses laser or light distortion to construct a 3D model of an object, and photogrammetry.

The green screen effect is a postproduction technique for compositing two images or video streams together based on colour hues (chroma range). Newscasting, motion picture, and video game industries love this technique, but anyone can use the green screen effect.
