The Greystone is a 30-room award-winning hotel with additional accommodations available through our vacation rental program. Our on-site wedding and event coordinator will ensure your event is everything you wish it to be. The Lovelace Room & Lakeview Deck

This spacious yet intimate room overlooking the lake is ideal for private dinner dinners, meetings, cocktail receptions, strategy sessions and bridal luncheons. The space feels removed from the rest of the resort and opens out to its own private deck.

The Rockefeller Suite

Built in 1930 to house Lucy’s expanding library, this magnificent two-story, oak paneled room with soaring ceiling, massive stone fireplace and huge mullioned windows is steeped in distinguished history and tradition.

The Library

The Mansion’s original library is intimate and warm with wood paneled walls, fireplace and windows that gaze out over the lake.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is a magnificent and unique location, with the pristine water of Lake Toxaway under your feet and the panoramic views of the lake and mountains.

The North Terrace

This elegant stone terrace enjoys expansive views of the lake and mountains. Guests can drift from the terrace to the mansion through the double doors, enjoying cocktails and the music of the piano.

To rent the North Terrace or Library you and your guests must rent 12 interior Mansion guest rooms

The South Lawn

Beside Lucy’s hillside mansion you’ll find the 3,000 square foot South Lawn that’s easily tented for events large and small. Stone leads guests down two additional smaller terraces that can be enjoyed separately for more intimate affairs or in combination with The South Lawn.

The Miss Lucy

For wooden boat enthusiasts, the Miss Lucy is a big attraction. This 26-passenger handcrafted mahogany boat is made by the hundred-year-old legendary Hacker Craft Company.

The Lakeside Dining Room

Anchored by a large stone fireplace, the Lakeside Dining Room is lined with windows that allow for breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. A stunning location for romantic occasions.

The Mansion

The stately, Swiss style mansion has silently held court on the shores of scenic Lake Toxaway for over a century. Built by Savannah heiress Lucy Armstrong Moltz, The Greystone exudes warmth with her gracious fire lit rooms, elegant stone terraces and views that will take your breath away. Guests will enjoy the feeling of being in a grand private house, homey yet supremely special.

Exclusively Yours rental: Food & Beverage minimums available upon request Exclusively Yours rental accommodates 150 plus guests and includes the Mansion, Lakeside Dining room and all public spaces. An Exclusively Yours rental is available to groups that have reserved all 30 guestrooms.

The Greystone specializes in events from two to 150 guests. We will refer events larger than 150 guests to our partners at the Lake Toxaway Country Club.

OFF-SITE CEREMONY & EVENT VENUES

LAKE TOXAWAY METHODIST CHURCH

The Lake Toxaway Methodist Church, dates back to 1912 and overlooks scenic Lake Toxaway in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests wishing to be married in this beautiful chapel must do 3 face-to-face sessions with one of the church’s ministers, who will also be the person officiating their ceremony.

St. Andrews By The Lake Chapel

This open-air chapel was established in 1964 under the direction of St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church in Brevard, NC. Today Ministers from various denominations conduct services and officiate weddings.

Meadow Ridge

Wide open spaces with breathtaking views of mountain ridges surround you. The peaks of Panther Ridge, Summit Ridge and Toxaway Mountain stand majestically against the clear blue sky. A pavilion with wood burning fireplace, two restrooms and lots of parking is included in the rental.

ACCOMMODATES: Ceremony: Up to 300 guests Fee: $250 rental. $75 cleaning
