Wilson County 2012 Delinquent Real Estate Taxes

ADVERTISEMENT OF TAX LIENS ON REAL ESTATE FOR 2012 Under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 105-369 of the North Carolina General Statutes and pursuant to an order of the Board of Commissioners of Wilson County, I am hereby advertising tax liens for the year 2012 upon the real estate described herein. The amount advertised will be increased by interest and costs, and the omission of interest and costs from the amount advertised will not constitute a waiver of the taxing unit’s claim for those items. The real estate that is subject to the lien and the name of the owner of the property as of the date the property tax became delinquent January 7, 2013, and the principal amount of taxes due are set out herein. When a parcel was subdivided after January 1, 2012, and ownership of one or more of the resulting parcels was transferred, the amount of the tax lien on each parcel, as shown in this advertisement, is the amount of the lien on the original parcel as it existed on January 1, 2012, and is subject to adjustment when the taxes are paid or the lien is foreclosed. If the taxes remain unpaid, the taxing unit will foreclose the lien and the real property subject to the liens will be sold to satisfy the taxing unit’s claim for taxes. This advertising list includes 2012 real property accounts unpaid as of February 22, 2013. This 4th day of March 2013 Randy A. Faircloth Wilson County Tax Administrator/Collector
