become part of the founders’ original vision for a village by the sea. And as
the community grows, so does its spirit. Fo u n d a t i o n s h a v e b e e n l a i d h e r e , b o t h o f t h e material and spritual kind.
Over the last
decade, the human architecture has evolved alongside that of the carefully constructed homes and public buildings. T
he perfect place in the sun: a barefoot place where the ocean beckons ever y morning. A place with a fabulous golf
course with no tee-times.
A place where you
can finish a book in an afternoon, or play three sets of really good tennis. A place for aunts and uncles and cousins and perhaps a grandchild or two. Somewhere you can get to from any major city without having to change planes.
A place
you can ride on horseback for hours, without crossing a road.
A place where you can find
lemons in Januar y, and not have to do without the Sunday papers.
“Windsor is unique. It has a true sense of place. The architecture, by and large, is excellent and serious.” —Hugh Newell Jacobsen, Architect

“When we thought of the clubhouse, our desire was to create a building that looked as if it had always been a part of the village. Built in the Anglo-Caribbean style, the exterior reflects the Southern architecture
we
have
always
loved:
painted
beams,
sweeping rafter tails, and deep porches. But when you walk inside, the mood is fresh and modern – as if one had taken a wonderful old building and converted it.” — Hi l a r y We s t o n , Fo u n d e r 1 9 8 9
