Update on fiscal year revenue March Madness means basketball for most Americans, but it also means madness over Membership Drive programming for some PBS watchers. The drive, which runs Mar. 1 -18, is especially important this year, as we continue to chip away at our $90,000 program dues increase. I’m happy to report we have made up $44,000 of the program dues goal so far. This is due largely because membership revenue is up, and also because we’ve trimmed some additional expenses from the budget. But in order to stay on this course, we must continue increasing membership revenue through additional gifts and renewals the rest of the fiscal year — and
that’s where you come in. If you can afford to make an additional gift, or increase your annual gift to WIPB, now is the perfect time! Call in during the Membership Drive, or make a contribution anytime at wipb.org; you may even win a Kindle Fire just for contacting WIPB (see below)! Another way you can help us is by supporting Telesale, Apr. 3-5. Donate merchandise, volunteer to help during the auction, or tune in and buy merchadise. Find out more at www.telesale.com. Thank you for your support. Together, I believe we will meet this revenue challenge and make 2014 a banner year for WIPB. Most Sincerely,
Alice J. Van Dyke General Manager
Win a Kindle Fire Tablet Everyone who contacts WIPB during our March Membership Drive (Mar. 1 - 18), will be entered in a drawing to win a Kindle Fire HDX from WIPB.
