Welcome Jared!

We are excited to introduce the Club’s new Accounting Manager, Jared Burns.

Jared joined the Club last month, and is originally from Livermore. In 1995, he moved to the Seattle area, where he began his finance career working for large corporations such as Getty Images and Microsoft. In 2012, Jared left Seattle for Palm Desert to work for a 36-hole luxury golf resort with Kemper Sports as a Controller. His tenure with Kemper Sports included stepping into a Regional Controller position with financial oversight over a group of private, semi-private, daily fee and resort facilities.

Jared has a strong knowledge of accounting, coupled with a great understanding of club operations. Jared’s extensive experience in the golf industry, club accounting, financial controls, and reporting along with his advanced skill set in business analytics makes him an asset for the team. He has two beautiful daughters, ages 12 and 16, and enjoys being outdoors as much as possible. In his spare time, he spends time with family, and also enjoys the gym, golfing, fly fishing, kayaking and playing softball.
