Sign up for Glow Golf - CIGAR CLUB

BY KEVIN WOLF CIGAR CLUB PRESIDENT

As mentioned in the weekly newsletter, the Cigar Club is hosting a Glow Ball Golf Tournament. Yes, you read that right—we’re playing golf in the dark! We have space for 60 players, which is the maximum number of participants we can accommodate based on the equipment the Club purchased for the event. So, we’re capping the event at 60 players.

The tournament is scheduled for Fri, Sept 13, with a 7:45pm shotgun start. This event takes place the night before the Vocker Cup begins, making it a perfect warm-up. We’ll be playing nine holes using the new glow-in-the-dark LED golf balls, and trust me, they’re pretty cool. The cost to participate is $50 per player—$40 covers the equipment, and $10 goes toward the event buy-in. I’m hoping we sell out this event and establish it as an annual tradition.

Looking ahead to October, we’ll be hosting the annual 14 Club Challenge, where we’ll see if Andy Peterson can defend his championship title from 2023. In November, we’re planning to hold the Tin Cup Open, where you’ll play nine holes using only your 7-iron. It’s sure to be a blast with plenty of laughs.

I look forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming Glow Ball event on Sept 13. If you have any questions about any of the events, feel free to email me at Kevin.wolf@nm.com.
