LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT My name is Summer Lettkeman and I am the 2020-2021 President for Key Club at Weatherford High School. Key Club is very special and rewarding to me because we get to help everyone in our community and gain new friends in the process. I joined Key Club my Sophomore year and learned a lot my first year. I am now a junior and Key Club has taught me a lot. It shows you the impact you have on people when you help someone out or give them a festive card. One of my personal favorite projects is our Veterans Day project. My grandpa was a former veteran and it makes me smile to see what a thank you and a card can do for these brave people. I also enjoy when we’re able to get our district together and see what they have done. It is a big motivation to see other schools doing such amazing and creative projects. The last thing I love about being in Key Club is the joy everyone gets in the club when someone new joins the club. It is the most euphoric feeling to get to guide a student into helping others in our community.

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

“Happiness is not something that you have to achieve. You can still feel happy during the process of achieving something. - KIM NAMJOON

04

Hello! I'm Sofia Salazar. I am the secretary and editor, for now, this year for key club. I've been in key club since Freshman year and this year is my first time holding a position. Sadly, Covid -19 has taken away my human interactions. I had a liver transplant so I'm basically stuck at home 24/7. This is my first time making a newsletter and I'm kind of nervous. Obviously, this year has been crazy, horrible, long, etc. and I'm really devastated that I won't be able to participate in Key Club the way I want to. I welcome the new members to a place where you will create a ton of fun memories. Please stay safe during this crazy time!
