YOUTHSPEAK FORUM 2017 Youth Speak is a global youth movement and youth insight survey powered by AIESEC. We focus on understanding "How to engage millennial to take action". The Youth Speak Forum is a premiere event on global, national and local events that brings together young leaders, business, government and NGO representatives to form a diverse cross sector and space for inspiring conversations and to create an environment to gain new perspectives and actionable outcomes and projects to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Theme | What do we focus on this year? Decent Work & Economic Growth
- Sustained and inclusive economic growth is necessary for achieving sustainable development. - While economic and employment are important for economic security, access to financial services is an essential component too.
Responsible Consumption & Production
- Sustainable growth and development require minimizing the natural resources and toxic materials used through the entire production. - The materials footprint reflects the amount of primary materials required to meet the country’s needs, an indicator of material standard of living.

PARTICIPANTS TESTIMONIAL Kim Sokly, 23, Graduated in UEF I appreciate AIESEC for creating this forum. I got chance to meet many awesome speakers. They are really inspiring. It motivates me to think of many great ideas for my life. Sok Chhaysreng, 22, PUC Year 4 It is different from most of the events I used to join. This event has action space that engages me to do real action which I have never thought of. I love the discussion and I made many new friends from other background. Really hope if this event could happen in next year too because I see it as our duty to contribute to society. Ann Sopheak, 22, PUC Year 4 It is not just a normal workshop event that I need to sit and then sleep later on. I like the entertaining part as well. It refreshed me in different mood. Good job the organizing team ! The ticket is not expensive with all these things that YouthSpeak provided. Sok Sotheareach, 23, Graduated in IFL I have joined many event hosted by AIESEC. This year, YouthSpeak Forum took things to another level. It is completely different from my expectation. In addition to the provided keynotes, action space is what I like the most. It engaged participants to interact with one another. They also got the chance to talk about SDG that they feel passionate about. Sam Ol Sopanha, 22, ITC Year 4 Generally speaking, I do not like participating event like this; however, my friend successfully pushed me to join YouthSpeak Forum 2017. Well, thank to them for this. If not, I would not be able to have chance to enjoy such productive event.
