Feed module Foil feed module This module is used for feeding thin foil, and in particular, the wrinkle-free, tension-free, and unblemished feeding of (double-sided) coated materials. These materials are so thin that conventional cutting and punching using standard techniques can only be accomplished when in compliance of extremely accurate tolerance requirements and by using precision tools. Feed module for small or medium-sized products This module is used to feed and place products utilising a certain amount of flexibility. Product changes and modifications are easier, faster, and less expensive to implement (also off-line).

ProFast4G represents the future of precision and high-tech assembly processes for a great diversity of advanced and complex microproducts. ProFast4G was developed in collaboration with high-tech partners ProfTech, Tumakon, and Masevon. The project is supported financially by the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund), the TIR (Twente Innovation Route), and the project GO from the provinces Gelderland and Overijssel. The foundations Mechatronica Valley Twente, Innovatie Platform Twente and Regio Twente also contributed to the project.

Process module This module makes it possible to perform micro-processes like the cutting, punching or bending of many different materials down to a few micro meters.

Meeting increased production capacities of these small and complex products is made possible with the ProFast4G. Welding module This platform makes it possible to assemble small and complex products at very high speeds using a combination of standardised and customised assembly processes. The modular and generic platform cuts down production times and broadens operational capabilities.

The welding module is capable of connecting components very accurately, and at very short intervals. The welding method employed (ultrasonic, spot, or laser welding) is determined by the type of material and the product requirements.
