BDP are leaders in the use of BIM platforms for delivering projects across Europe and Asia. We have dedicated BIM coordinator’s and execution protocols in place, tailored to project type and scale. Our studio’s very often work with external design consultants , architects and so that our systems are agile which ensures seamless integration into an ongoing project cycle
Through our involvement in the leading edge of BIM development, we have defined processes to make best value of the design tools available. Improved collaboration, visualisation, solar studies, clash detection and less rework are just a few of the value additions with the effective use of BIM.
We have a certified BIM Execution Plan. We follow processes to issue construction packages (IFCs) at LOD 350.

64 Victoria is a 22 storey 1960s office tower that has been comprehensively refurbished with a new aesthetic and modern environment. Work included stripping the building’s concrete frame, cleaning stonework, installing new windows, maximising the ground floor glazing and opening up the entrance. The central core was remodelled and double-decker lifts were introduced, enabling densification of the workplace which is a first for a refurbishment project.

The refurbishment of a 1980s office building in the City of London includes work on its external façade and the creation of a semi-public ground floor space and a rooftop extension with terrace, opening up the roof level and offering views across the city. The scheme features an innovative structural glazing system on the ground floor, new lifts and core reconfiguration, prefabricated bathroom systems, and flexible ceiling-less office space.

House of Cool, an animation company with a unique niche in digital storyboards, lives up to its name in their new home at the Toronto Waterfront Daniels City of the Arts. The space is bright and inviting with a tongue-in-cheek ‘house’ design feature at the heart of the studio that houses their kitchen and entertainment space. The family-room comfort and quirky touches are mixed with highly functional and flexible furnishings throughout the studio to respond to their project work flow. Within their first year, they are already expanding, creating space for more animators and offline edit suites.

Design for fit-out of the new 200,000 sq ft nine floor workplace building for PwC Belfast. Relocating them from their existing premises to the new building at Merchant Square.
The building is an amalgamation of three existing structures with a dramatic feature staircase linking floors 4, 5 & 6 connecting the 5th floor restaurant, Wellness Area & Co-Working to practice space.

Cambridge Assessment headquarters provides office accommodation for 3,000 staff and has the adaptability to facilitate the business’ expected growth of 25% - with office spaces, restaurants, coffee bars, a library and resource centre, flexible conference and auditorium facilities, wellbeing facilities and over 100 meeting rooms of varying sizes. The project involved a Cat A and B fit-out, full furniture, furnishings, and equipment design as well as shell and core coordination.

The conference room is strategically placed near the entrance, while an open meeting table facilitates larger gatherings and group discussions. The project is a private guesthouse build for the VVIP of the Bajaj Energy Group Ltd. Located in a secluded area, the one story glass structure is a complete vastu-compliant open floor plan.
Nivita’s scope in the project was to manage the project deadlines and handle client interactions as well as consultant coordination for all MEP services for smooth execution of the project. She was also responsible for the design concepts for complete interiors as well as material, furniture and lighting selection .

All floors follows a different colour palette as per the client requirements. Nivita was responsible for all the detail oriented dawings required in the site execution.

Pre-Engineered Factory, Bhiwadi
Highly functional Pre engineered manufacturing industries are fully equipped with flexible spaces that can be used by the staff and workers. The project is situated in the industrial sector in Bhiwadi, comprises of a factory PEB building as well as a factory corporate office for the staff and Higher board members of the company. Nivita was responsible for the preparation from tender drawings as well as take it to the final execution on site.

Private residence, Chandigarh
Residential project was desiged for a couple with a young daughter. Respecting the prime location of the project amidst the high profile sector of the capitol complex chandigarh, the project was designed to give a tribute to Le Corbusier. Using his design principles not only in architecture but in interiors as well. Using his designs in furniture, the project turned out to be a highlight in the area. Nivita’s scope was to handle all design related decisions taken for architecture as well as interiors and to coordinate with the PMC team for smoother working. Conceptual design as well as material selections was also part of her responsibilty.
