JOEL SCOTT PARK 424 WESTGATE WAY

Joel Scott Memorial Park is located in the Birmingham Farms neighborhood of Wylie. The park shares space with the grounds of Birmingham Elementary School. Featuring a playground, a half-mile walking trail, benches, and water fountains, Joel Scott Memorial Park is a popular destination. The park also boasts Wylie’s only skateboard park, featuring free-standing elements such as ramps and grinding rails on 4,200 square feet of concrete surface. A pavilion can be found adjacent to the skateboard park, and a parking lot is available.

ONCOR PARK

961 EAST BROWN STREET The park offers Wylie’s first and only disc golf course. The nine-hole park meanders along the creek that runs through the park’s 14 acres. Casual disc golfers will discover a tight, challenging course, and even experienced players will be satisfied by the good workout the course provides. Parking is available at the park, and patrons may also want to take a look at the new parks and trails in the Kreymer Estates subdivision across Brown Street.
