A GREBE is a freshwater aquatic diving bird. There are 22 different species of GREBES in six GENERA (the plural of GENUS.) The young GREBES are PRECOCIOUS – they are able to swim from birth. A MANGROVE is a small tree that lives in BRACKISH water – salty water that borders the coasts.
