Good to see the Senior boys bounce back with a much-neededwinagainst East to give themselves a shotatreachingthefinals this week down at Casterton.Theconditions were atrocious and three young blokes led the way Mitch Harrold, Mitch Sims and Harry Mitchell leading the awards along with Bryce Whicker and captain Taylor Saffin. Leading goal kicker on a day when we kicked 21 points was Elliott Fisher withthree.

It was great to see a really good crowd at the C o c k t a i l n i g h t o n Saturday with the mood lifted by the Matildas gettingoverthelineandit was a great reaction in theclub.

The club is heavily focussed on the development of Juniors to becomeSeniorfootballersandcreatingawholeclubculture.

Here we are Cat Fans, the last Home and Away game of 2023, theUnder16'sareinthefinalsand some crazy football in the seniors could see them in the finals, is 10 percentage points too much to make up? Ask John Webb maybe, lets just go with 25 goals and see how things pan out from there, a winor4willdometoday to start today, better players were Jedd Rhook , Oliver Foster, Jack andCobyRice.

The Cats seniors last week left their run a bit late, but it made for exciting football played out in front of a large crowd of Cat Fans at Vansittart Park, better players were Nick Schembri, Diarmid Cleary, Gabe Parsons, Michael Krieger, Justin Carlin and Adam McKinnon.

The Cats Reserves put the North Ressies to the sword and the tip of theswordwasRickyKilleywhoput through 5 goals, I heard a rumour that if Brody Mihocek hadn't pulled his finger out that Rick was goingtogetthecalluptothePies! Better players for the Cats were Cory Wombwell, Jarrad Smith, Conan Devereux, Rufaro Makore, Kaden Humphries and Fletcher Bright.

The Under 14's will be looking to recruit a few more players in the off season, but everyone that has played this year has done a terrific job,betterplayerswereJettLykke, Billy Rhook, Lachie Auld, Henry RobinsandNateLonghurst.

Mount Gambier is a vibrant country town with the second largest population in South Australia. The region has thriving timber, agriculture, fishing and tourism industries and is located on the coast halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne.

A playing coach is preferred but all applicants will be considered.
