stopping the goals for the other team and the pressure they put on them along with Tully at WD was just fantastic, at the first quarter break we were only 1 down. By half time we were still only1downhavingaveryevenquarterwiththe Millicent girls. Lucy came on at GS and Halle wentintotheWAposition.Thethirdquarterwe let our game drop a bit and we came out at ¾ time down by 7 but we kept our heads going into the final ¼ and kept them under control having an even last quarter with the final score stillonly7down.
This was a game to show us what we can do if we put it all together, a great game going into thelastroundagainstEast.GOWESTIES.

The girls played their hardest sadly not coming out with a win but they all put everything they had into it. The defence work hard through the whole game and even getting some touches to the ball here and there. The mid court played a fast game and did very well at switching from attacking to defence. The shooters had some goodshotsandworkedverywellinthecircle.

This week the West 13b girls come up against Millicent in Millicent. This is always a tough game. In cold conditions the girls struggled to convert balls in the goals and Millicent capitalised taking the lead at the 1st break by 4 goals. The West girls started to make better connectionsinthe2ndquarterandwereableto scoremoreball.Millicentextendedtheirleadto 6 at the half time break. Going into the 3rd quarter both teams made changes in the defenceend.ThisworkedwellforMillicentgirls who got the jump on the Westies. WOW! What a great game by both teams last Saturday It was a great team effort. There were some outstanding passages of play from defence into attack. Our attack at the ball was amazing and we providedplenty of pressure on the court in our defensive end. One of our most consistent games. One more left girls. Caitlin and I are very proud of how far you have come. Enjoyyourlastgamefortheseason.

When it got tough, we couldn’t get the job done. Very disappointing result for us We had plenty of opportunities but could utilise the ball movement to finish. Too many errors let us down. Let’s regroup this week and aim to work smarter and harder against West. It’s up to usifwewanttoplayfinals.
Big thank you to all our bench players, and Amber and Sharna againforsteppingup.

What a win. The girls started the game strong. . The defence worked extremely hard and got lots of turn overs which the shooters could convert into goals. The midcourt drovehardallgameandthepassing into the shooter was amazing. Well done girls you should be all very proudofyourselves.

Great game. The girls adapted well to the weather conditions and got the win over South. The girls tried a new set play and succeeded and also kept doing all the other plays they have learnt. Everyone worked really hard to achieve individual goals.
They played as a team supporting

In a good win I was pleased to see how everyone adjusted to their positional changes. Olivia moved and drove well into the goals finishing off well and Tilly had an awesome game in defense, turning theballovernumeroustimes.
Everyone defended well to cause the turnovers and then positioned well, drove hard and kept the court opened.
A great team effort by all. lets keep workinghard
