Hi all, its finally here the last home game of the year Its been a good long season as the business endjustkicksintogear.
Last week down in Millicent in the second bestbeershedwasasolid day for west with our under 14s getting us under way in a tough day for the kids. As I said e v e r y w e e k t h e improvement is their and its evident in the results. This week is a must win for the 14s this week to endtheyearonahigh.
Our 16s went down in a tough game playing Millicent but again never gave up at all and have the side to play deep finals if they put it together
Our 18s boys had a good day and playing some solid football at the right time of year. The big squad of players are putting together some solid quarters of football

Our reserves and seniors playedoutgoodgamesof football and both have some improvements needed to get better Roo has been talking about thatmarkallweeksoheis still on a high and hopefully he lifts them all tocomewithhimthrough thefinals.
Today is a great day for the club with Tom Dolan playing his 300th game for the club. When you h e a r To m ' s n a m e mentioned you never hear a bad word spoken about him. He is a true champion of our club and joins a select list of few to play 300 games at our club.

U14s started well but a 7 goal to 0 2nd quarter was the boys downfall but therewaslotsofpositives totakeintonextgame.

U16s played a much bigger south team who dominated most of the game.Theboyshadtimes during the game where they controlled the play but couldn't sustain it long enough to make a real impact on the score board.

U18s the guys just didn't have the numbers with half a dozen U16s coming up to fill in the numbers , well done to those lads who put there hands up most weeks to fill in. The guys tried but on the big s o u t h o v a l t h e r e opponents took them to thesword.

retirement to play his 100th game in the red and black The guys played a tough brand of football with Conner Barry playing a lone hand in the ruck was judged best afield followed by Alex Dethmore, Brayden Coppick, Brendan Rees, Tom McCourt and Ben Gaffney
Seniorswithafewinjuries and a suspension came in with an undermanned side. With that gave chances to Dylan Smith and Tyson Shepherd to play there senior debuts. The first half was an inaccurate low scoring affair but a 4 to 2 goal 3rd quarter by South set up a 31 point loss the guys h a v e s h o w n improvementallyear. Best players John Forster, Reece Lillicrap, Giancarlo Cooper, Keenan Dwyer, Sam Lock and Riley Flamank.
This week we play West Gambier AGAIN with the seniors, U18s and u16s playing there last game of the season. The Reserves have locked in a spot in the finals and the u14s play to get in the finals so get there early and cheer themon.
The club will be open from 5 for presentations, senior presentations will be on the 7th of October more information will be outinthecomingweeks.
