The Gynecologic Oncology Specialty Team at the Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center in Trumbull brings together a team of clinicians whose focus is to care for women with gynecologic cancers. Drs. Mitchell Clark and Masoud Azodi are board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, with a subspecialty of gynecologic oncology, uniting surgery and oncologic care to treat patients. Dr. Kathleen Fenn, medical oncologist, and Dr. Melissa Young, radiation oncologist, collaborate closely with Dr. Clark and Dr. Azodi to provide specialized care for women diagnosed with vulvar, vaginal, cervical, uterine, fallopian tube, or ovarian cancers. Clinical trials are available to patients through Yale Cancer Center, Connecticut’s only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center. Together, they ensure all patients are provided with exceptional care from an experienced team.
