CHANGE YOURSELF

kmbs approaches ›
kmbs puts personality in the centre of all its efforts at developing a person as a whole human being, enriching him or her with deep ethical, aesthetical, philosophical and cultural experiences (not only knowledge and skills). kmbs works to fill business education with deep humanistic senses and values, develops a humanitarian culture and creative thinking, and broadens a person’s world outlook by taking participants out of their customary business context and immersing them into different cultural and art contexts, to search for new meaningful connections and senses in life and work.
›
Integration of business and arts using an interdisciplinary approach opens up new dimensions and horizons for MBA program participants to realize the power of strategic ideas in business, enriches them with new deep senses, and develops systems thinking.
›
To develop kmbs programs, participants’ leadership potential and team work, kmbs arranges outdoor sessions for conquering Ukraine’s highest mountain peak, Hoverla. To stretch their minds, souls and bodies during Field modules all over Ukraine, kmbs developed a special session wherein participants venture down a deep mine in the Donetsk region. For them, this experience is transformational. These unique sessions push program participants to learn more about themselves than they could ever learn in a classroom.
›
A special creative and intellectual atmosphere that dominates the School is also a distinctive and prominent feature which attracts and inspires kmbs pro gram participants and guests. It makes kmbs an intellectual platform in Ukraine and meeting point for businessmen, artists, politicians, musicians and representatives of Ukrainian elite. Photos exhibitions, paintings, sculptures, music, games, sports, coffee and cakes add much to the mood of reflection, communication, and intense sharing of thoughts, feelings and ideas.

Dean’s word “We believe business to be the phenomenon that will form the future world. It is not about the manager finding a solution to a certain issue or problem, but rather what issue shall be questioned, what objectives shall be set and what logic of values shall be used. Developing leadership skills for managers and business owners is as important as the development of managerial skills. Some school projects are based on leadership program components that are a kind of multiplier in the development of a personality. To be prepared to change the paradigm and create it oneself, to implement the transformation - these are ambitious top goals, typical for graduates of today’s masters and medium-term specialized programs at the Kyiv Mohyla Business School. Collaboration with other international partners and business sponsors is an important prerequisite for the implementation of the relevant studies we conduct as part of our research centers. Acting effectively, ambitiously, being able to face new challenges - both internal and external-developing themselves and their companies and changing the world have become part of the DNA of the professional community that defines itself through a single brand: kmbs.”
Yours faithfully, Oleksandr Savruk
