"That's my favourite time signature," he was reported to have said to the drummer of his trio, Parasite Couch.
His professor sent a concerned email to which he responded, "There was an event number of questions so I couldn't really get into it. Too standard. "He also mentioned that he would've like it more if the test had at least one key change.
The day before the test, Nick listened to the entire Tera Melos discography. He didn't answer any of the Sine or Cosine questions. "It's the notes you don't play that give the song life."
On the bubble sheet he tabbed out augmented and diminished patterns and on his calculator he composed his new song "The Sign Language of Colorblind Plants."
After the test several students saw him walking with his earbuds in and tapping his chest going "one two three four five six sev, one two three four five buh! buh! one two three buh! buh da!"
Nick will be retaking the class in the fall.
