Project 4 Letter Forms

In this chapter, we explored the multiple forms of letters and fonts, and attempted printing. This is my favorite part! Movable type printing is one of the the Four Great Inventions in ancient China. I feel happy to make works in this way.

In this design, we need to first select a word and then design for it. The design is divided into two parts. The first part is to draw a mind map about this word, allowing us to delve as deeply as possible into a word and its related things. The second part is design, which involves designing the final product through printing, scanning, collage, and other means. I choose the word "fate".

In this assignment, I fully enjoyed the fun of design and was pleasantly surprised to create so many interesting images through simple physical means. Unfortunately, during the review, I found that I did not choose a good word. The concept of "fat" is too abstract and difficult to visualize. But I still feel that my finished product is beautiful.
