Inferior Turbinectomy Post-Operative Care Tips •

There might be nose packs in your nose after the procedure. Please do not remove them. Your doctor will remove them for you during the review.

As your nose is packed, please breathe through your mouth until the packs are removed.

There may be mild nose bleed (epistaxis) after the procedure. Usually it will stop spontaneously. However, if active bleeding continues, please seek medical advice.

Please take the painkillers and antibiotics as prescribed.

Please take soft diet and avoid hot diet for the first few days after the procedure. Gradually progress to your normal diet as you feel better.
