Exercises for Hip Fracture Physiotherapy � Deep Breathing Exercise Breathe in through your nose as you raise your hands up. Blow out through your mouth as you bring your hands down. Do 5 repetitions every 30 minutes. Cough out if you have phlegm.

� Ankle Pumps Move both ankles up and down. Do 10-20 repetitions every hour.
