Les Mills BodyCombat is a programthat is a martial arts-inspired full-body workout that fuels cardio fitness and leaves you feeling empowered It's totally non-contact and there are no complex moves to master.

Les Mills BodyStep is a programis the ultimate way to give your body a high-energy cardio blast that tones the hips and thighs by utilizing a height-adjustment step With over 6,000 steps during each one-hour session, you'll see results in record time

Zumba

Zumba is a heart-racing, muscle-pumping, Latin-inspired class that is a great time that gets great results, including high-calorie burn and an awesome core workout Over your one-hour class, you will not only enjoy a great workout, but great music while learning cool dance moves.

CYCLE

This indoor cycling class uses different levels of resistance to take participants though a variety of terrains and intensities Space is limited so please arrive 10 minutes early for bike setup and remember to bring a water bottle and a towel

RPM

Les Mills RPM is a programthat incorporates cycling, choreography and motivational coaching techniques to give you a completely safe aerobic adrenaline experience. It's the ultimate indoor ride! Get in the zone for your 50-minute session and find out why this class is addictive Please note, no entry is allowed once class has begun.

Strengthen and open tight areas of the body like the shoulders and muscles of the upper body This can help you keep good posture Develop body awareness Yoga requires you to contract or relax specific muscles as you stretch into each pose

Les Mills BodyBalance combines Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates to build flexibility and strength while leaving you feeling centered and calm Using controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music, this workout bring the body into a state of harmony and balance

BodyPump is the Les Mills' original barbell class This one-hour workout strengthens your entire body by challenging all of your major muscle groups with the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weights will inspire you to get the results you came for - and fast! Please note no entry is permitted once class begins

45-minutes of non-stop action, focusing on strength training, cardio, and plyometricsthose explosive power moves like high-knee jumps and burpees Working at 110%effort, followed by short periods of rest and recovery This workout will improve strength and build lean muscle.

6-Week Small Group Training

A challenging total body workout, alternating stations of weights & cardio while utilizing equipment such as dumbbells, balance balls and resistance tubes Additionally, the class will consist of a warm-up, core work, cool-down, and stretching. With a wide range of equipment at your disposal, we offer this free orientation to help familiarize you with our entire fitness facility to make your workouts more efficient and effective

Fit ness Assessment s

The Yoffers Fitness Assessments based on a standardized method in the following areas: postural, flexibility and overall movement We can also check your resting heart rate, blood pressure and body fat This is a 50-minute session with a personal trainer who will review the results with you and suggest a path to help you meet your goals.

SilverSneakers Classic

Silver Sneakers Classic concentrates on improving strength and flexibility so daily living activities become easier. It's a fun way to stay in shape and increase social interaction Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support

SilverSneakers Muscular St rengt h & Range of Movement (MSROM)

Silver Sneakers EnerChi introduces modified Tai Chi forms Linking forms together in a guided flow increases strength and vitality In EnerChi you will teach participants the foundations of weight transfer and rhythmic movement along with awareness and focused breathing.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses Chair support is offered to safely performa variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity

SilverSneakers Circuit

SilverSneakers Circuit combines fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscle endurance Class will consist of standing low-impact choreography alternated with sitting or standing upper body strength work using hand weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball. A chair is offered for support during the class

Zumba Gold

Zumba Gold is a modified Zumba class that recreates the original Zumba moves at a lower intensity. Easy-to-follow choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. This class helps with cardiovascular health, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance!

Line Dance

Line dance is a fun choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows, all facing, either each other or in the same direction, and executing the same steps at the same time

Stay strong with this workout designed for active older adults of all fitness levels This class includes a variety of exercises geared at increasing muscular endurance, range of motion and agility required for activities of daily living

In Y Afterschool your child will have the opportunity to participate in programs such as enrichments, crafts, STEM activities, and so much more! ChildWat ch and Zone

ChildWatch is offered as a free service for members with family memberships. ChildWatch is more than just a safe place to look after your children while at the Y. This programs offers children and infants the chance to get the most out of their own visit to the Y through playing, learning and staying physically active Age requirements, time limits, and hours vary by branch

Free Family Friday

Ages 6 wks - 13 yrs

One Friday each month from4-8pm, parents who are YMembers can drop off their children for a free evening of fun while they enjoy an early dinner. For an additional $5 per child you can extend your time to 9pm Additionally, for $4 per child you can purchase the Family Friday Meal which includes pizza, juice and a snack Please note, parents must sign up in advance for the evening that they plan to have their children attend Space is limited and only one of these programs is allotted per month to each family

Craft Pizza Play

Ages 6 wks - 13 yrs

Hours are 5-10pm This programincludes pizza, juice and a craft/ This night specifically focuses on a craft We have done ceramics, canvas painting, tie dye and more!

The goal of our afterschool programis to ensure safety for children (K-5th grade) while promoting healthy physical and emotional growth, assisting working families, and inspiring children to learn We strive to help each child reach their full potential by offering a positive and enriching environment that encourages the development of character, leadership and cooperative spirit. Participants will learn new skills for 25 minutes and put those skills in action for a short 25-30 minute game after the practice session All players will receive a YMCA reversible-style jersey and will be assigned a different color each week All players will receive a participation medal

Grades 1st-8th (ages 6-14)

Rookie Plus players will receive a uniformpackage different for each sport Season will consist of 7 to 8 practices, 6 games and a guaranteed 1-game end of season tournament for each age group. Scores and standings will be kept Our rules have been adjusted to ensure better parity and limit the ability of a teamto "run up the score" Players will be ensured to play half of each game. All players will receive a participation medal

Gymnast ics

Ages 4 yrs +

Our gymnastics programis designed to teach gymnastics to kids of all ages. This sport builds confidence, improves self-esteem, strength, flexibility, agility and coordination. Our athletes use these skills to advance to our higher-level classes, or as the foundation for all other sports. Participants go through a progression of learning and qualifying skills before an advanced technique is performed. Classes continue throughout the entire year with holiday breaks. *Registration is accepted throughout the year if space is available

Junior Waves

Ages 5-13 yrs

This class is designed for those youth looking to join an aquatics club or swimteambut require additional training Weekly evaluations are held and upon registration you will meet twice weekly Classes include age-appropriate swimtraining, stroke mechanics, endurance training, and goal setting

Cert ificat ions

Swim Inst ruct or Training

Gain the knowledge and apply the skills necessary to become a certified instructor during our SwimInstructor Training classes

Participants must be 16 years of age by the last day of class, have their certifications in CPRPro, First Aid, AED & Oxygen Administration current Additionally, be proficient in four strokes, tread water for two minutes, performsix synchronized swimming skills and a standing dive off the pool deck.

Lifeguard Cert ificat ion

Ages 15 yrs+

Become a lifeguard at the Yand learn the necessary skills to save a life Our four-day life guarding classes will teach you rescue skills, CPR/AEDfor adult, child and infant, and basic first aid skills. Applicants must be a minimum 16 years old by the last day of the attended class. Upon successful completion, participants will be certified in: YMCA Lifeguard/CPR&AED for the Professional Rescuer/Basic First Aid

Swim Programs

Warm Wat er Therapy Open Swim

Utilizing the Y's warmwater therapy pool, this programhas great benefits for people with arthritis, joint issues, or other ailments that sometimes prevent regular exercise If you are unable to attend other water fitness classes, this open swimprovides you with a new option for your fitness Limited equipment will be provided and a lifeguard will be on duty during your time in the water

Mast er Swim

Ages 18 yrs+

Designed for those just starting to swimfor fitness or those competing at the highest levels in swimming events or triathlons This year-round programs will provide expertly designed training programs and stroke mechanics instruction while helping individuals set goals to meet their personal training needs. Each workout will be modified for ability level

Ages 5 - 18 yrs

The Twin Lakes Family YMCA Homeschool Swim Programoffers children a fun and safe way to improve physical and mental well-being throughout swimming This teampractices year-round with options to be a USA Swim Teammember or options for health and wellness

That's right, our pool venue can host a wide variety of events frombirthday parties to family reunions, neighborhood socials, and more We can provide the perfect venue specifically for your group Indoor pool rentals are available on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm, or 5:30-8:30pm
