TRI for HOPE Rules
1. All participants must be 17 years or older and have completed and signed the registration form. 2. Registration will remain open until race day. (Nov. 19 @ 7:30 Registration ends) 3. Participants may register between 6:30am and 7:30am on the day of the race. They will be designated first available time slots. 4. Participants will be coordinated with like competitors and levels and released in waves of 10 participants at a time. There will be 30 minute intervals of start times. (Times may change depending on speed of prior groups) 5. Each participant will be given a volunteer assistant to keep track of race progression through the facility. 6. After all participants have completed their race, results will be posted on social media and an awards ceremony will follow the event (Time TBD). Format of Race Day Upon the whistle, each participant in the current wave will begin by swimming 300 meters (6 laps: 1 lap=down and back). Participants will exit the pool after completing 300 meters and immediately begin the biking leg on designated spin bikes. They will complete a 10 mile bike on the lowest resistance setting. After completing 10 miles, the participant will then enter the building and begin a 3 mile run/jog/walk on designated treadmills to complete the race. The following wave will be released as participants exit the spin bikes. Important: *The clock will not stop under any circumstance. *Please bring your own towel Awards 1st place overall Trophy – Men and Women 1st and 2nd place ribbons – Men and Women each division (competitive level) Men and Women each division (intermediate level) Just For Fun Groups will receive social media recognition along with other group levels
