The program will be staffed by trained instructors. All Child Care staff are oriented into their positions by our YMCA Child Care Administrative Staff. The staff is trained in working with children and handling emergency procedures, as well as identifying signs of child abuse and neglect. In addition, for the safety of your child, instructors are screened for past criminal history records and are CPR and first aid certified. The Child Care program staff to child ratio is 1 to 14.

**After School only (1) Farmersville Elementary program is facilitated at West Elementary. Bus Service to West Elementary from Farmersville Elementary will be provided by the MSD of Mt. Vernon.

Children can participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities both before and after school. Before-school activities will include breakfast and time for students to study or participate in a variety of games and activities.

After-school activities include snack time, arts/crafts, homework, group games and guest speakers.
