FANNY CRISPELL Assistant Lodging Manager – Kanto Lodge Fanny Crispell has worked in the hospitality industry for over 13 years. With her people-person personality and charisma she gravitated towards military lodging. Prior to Yokota she worked at Navy Lodging at CBC Gulfport as the front desk supervisor. “I love it – Truthfully I have always enjoyed working for the military lodging”. Now, working as the Assistant Lodging Manager at the Kanto Lodge for a year and a half, she ensures the mission here at Yokota is executed to its best. Whether it’s working with PCSing families or military members coming onto our installation for TDY or other business, Mrs. Crispell ensures the Kanto Lodge is up to par for our military community. Working behind the scenes with the housekeeping department, reservations and any other daily responsibilities. Processing and interacting
with a little over a 1,000 people each month, she cares for every single one. Mrs. Crispell’s favorite part of her job is her guests, “I’m a people person, I absolutely love interacting with different people that are coming from all over the world – We are the face of Yokota.” But with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, policies and public health emergencies have made impacts on this mission. Ranging from ROM to sanitation, with the support of her staff and leadership she ensures that her guests are comfortable and taken care of. Finding a home within FSS Yokota, Mrs. Crispell wants to continue to grow in hospitality and ensure that all guests that stay within the Kanto find one too. “I want to continue to work, whether it’s with the Air Force or a different branch with lodging. It’s something I enjoy – being able to have the opportunity to say that I assisted and helped at Yokota Air Base.”
