YOUR FAMILY

CHOOSING THE RIGHT CHILDCARE Whether you’re a new parent heading back to work or you’re looking to change your little one’s nursery, now is the time to grab a place for your child’s daycare. As children go up to primary 1. Location This might sound like an obvious one, but there are many things to consider when it comes to the location of your child’s nursery. How long will it take you to get there, and back? Will there be traffic? Could you look further along your commuting route? your child – so check out the nursery for yourself and make sure it’s the one. 5. Policies There are lots of little things to consider here: opening and closing times; how they deal with emergencies; how flexible they are; sickness policies, and the list goes on. Starting nursery is a nerve-wracking yet exciting time for both parent and child, and begins a new chapter in your lives – and here at Your Local Link, we wish you all the best!
