MAKING HOLIDAY MAGIC WITH JENNY REIMOLD & HOMEGOODS AT HOME TIPS Don’t rein it in: I like to take an out-of-the-box approach and repurpose items in new ways when styling any space. I spotted an oversized metal reindeer punchbowl on HomeGoods.com that I styled at the base of my fireplace. Instead of filling it with punch, I stuffed it with faux greenery, glass and metallic ornaments, then wrapped presents to create the ultimate statement piece!

Cut & Tuck Mix and match garlands for an over-the-top greenery mantle display! After securing faux cedar or cypress “foundation strands” with adhesive hooks, cut and tuck pieces from a second piece of garland and nestle those in amongst the first layer. By layering garland with faux greenery, you add extra texture and volume to any seasonal display. At HomeGoods, I always look for garland with pre-decorated ornaments or pinecones that add a pop of color and work well for this technique.
Overdo the Ornaments Ornaments are not just for the trees! I love placing them in bowls, adding them to greenery and hanging them on garland for that extra pop of color. This year, I used them on my faux sprigs to create an illusion of a glistening gold waterfall cascading off my mantle. Adding ornaments doesn’t have to add up either – stores like HomeGoods have tons of unique ornaments in a variety of colors, patterns, shapes and sizes that you can find in bulk for under $15! Pro Tip: opt for durable felt, plaster or melamine ornaments for the areas that kids can reach.
