Board of Directors Secretary

Past President

Dear Members, How is it already November? This year has flown by; with the pool project, irrigation improvements, numerous social activities and construction surrounding our club, this year has nearly passed within the blink of an eye…and yet there is still so much still to come. This year we saw some of our best attended social events. The Halloween Extravaganza was attended by more than 400 people and with the addition of the Alien Hunt, this year was a step above previous years. I must also commend Becca Simley for her great work on our Escape Hillcrest event, as it was a new event on our calendar and was attended and enjoyed by over 20 families. This year’s family dinners on Sundays are also full of life with regular attendance of 60+ people. We continue to see our membership being active and enthusiastic about our social calendar, and the upcoming events will be nothing short of spectacular. Make sure you mark your calendar for these key events coming up. The Bold and The Blind wine tasting on Thursday, November 21 is a fun and educational wine event that was a hit the first time and now that it’s been refined it is sure to be a top-notch event for the year. Chef Joe Andersen and his team are creating some of the finest food to come out of our kitchen in years, which is why I feel comfortable saying that this year’s Grand Thanksgiving Buffet will be one your family shouldn’t miss! And the final key event to attend will be our Roaring Twenty-Twenties New Year’s Eve Bash. With all the fun we are packing into this night it will surely be a great party to close out the year. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, the backyard is completely torn up and we had a big mud hole for nearly four weeks, but that’s all about to change! Our partners, BIC Construction, will begin pouring concrete this first week of November and our beautiful pool will begin to take shape very soon. If you haven’t gotten a chance to come out and see all the work being done, please try and bring your family out soon to see how it’s coming along. In other news, the Visionary Preview Program has been extended through the end of the year! This means ½ priced initiation fees with monthly credits up to $300 to new members as well as current members. With the announcement of Yankee Hill converting their course, I’ve been actively communicating with potential members daily over the past few weeks. We have already received multiple new members and we have more coming. To showcase our club and encourage people to come enjoy everything Hillcrest has to offer, I’ve added an open house event to our calendar. Please join us on Thursday, November 14 and bring a friend who would be interested in joining our club. We will be hosting live music and appetizers from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm. This will be a great opportunity for anyone interested in joining to meet board members, tour the club, ask questions, sample food from the menu or sip a cocktail. You may RSVP by calling us at the Clubhouse: 402.489.7111. I know I sound like a broken record when I say that this is a great time to be a member of our club, but I truly believe it. We have so many wonderful things happening that I feel great pride in what we have created as a club. We are truly fulfilling our vision of being the preferred private club for creating extraordinary experiences and memorable stories for families and guests.

A Message from the General Manager

Zach Tyson
