Zeppelin University Zeppelin University ( ZU ) in Friedrichshafen at Lake Constance is a foundation university bridging business, culture, and politics and is accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities. It is committed to interdisciplinarity, internationality, and individuality in both its research and its 15 study and doctoral programs. The Executive Education of Zeppelin University | ZUEE combines all offers of life-long-learning for people who are already in work. These range from part-time master programs and certificate courses to individual development programs. Executive Master in Business & Leadership for Engineers | eMA BEL The part-time study program Business & Leadership for Engineers prepares engineers for international leadership positions. It teaches central topics of business administration and reflects on challenges, models, and framework conditions of management. e MA BEL combines core subjects of economics with issues in system theory, cultural and social sciences and thus comprehensively addresses current expectations that leadership personalities face. The cooperation with large companies and renowned partner universities world-wide enables the students not only to put the study contents into a global perspective, but also to closely connect them to their corporate practice. Aim of the Program of Studies Our curriculum has an interdisciplinary orientation and enables the participants to take on corporate leadership responsibility. To achieve this, it combines content from business administration, such as business model innovation, marketing, and personnel management with issues from cultural and social sciences, such as social ethics, sustainability, decision and development theories.

During the first 12 months, all participants carry out a project work from their own corporate context, parallel to their seminars. The aim of this assignment is the immediate application of the content of the study program to the corporate environment, and a continuous transfer between theory and practical implementation. International Academy | Module Abroad The aim of the two-week module abroad is to develop culturally comparative perspectives and to link the theory of the program to concrete corporate situations abroad. It includes scientific seminars at one of our cooperation partners, personal meetings with executives and decision-makers, as well as visits to local companies, technology parks, and incubators. A cooperation partner is, for example, the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Target Group Engineers from areas such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, natural sciences, civil engineering etc. who aim for an international leadership position or an executive position in project management – or who have already taken on such a role.
