Design Matrix 1:5

Two 3D panels with triangular openings create a uncleaer boundary between exterior and interior, which light can go through. The protruding forms helps to create interest through light and shadow.

Panels are smaller at the top and increase in size towards the bottom of the volume.

A hollow waffle structure allows for the creation of an interior volume.

The diffrient shapes and angle of panels make the space in between seems like a pyrimid, which is more stable. Besides, it also helps to make the shadow on ground floor.

With the booleaned geometry contained mostly within the original shape the cube is still highly visible as a form.

Where the intersecting geometry interacts with the surface and been cut through creates cantiliver with more open space.

The Geometry is increasing in size from bottom to top, which means the opening space is increasing

The surface created by which geometry almost touches but does not with the cut creates a space has more shadow and semi-isolated from other space.

The solids left in the middle works as main structure of the boolean, and also makes the behind part of each perspective hidden from audience, which creates a sense of private.
