Boerboel verskeur 10-jarige “Daar was so baie bloed gewees ...” “Daar was so baie bloed gewees …” vertel ma Erika vanuit die 1 Militêre Hospitaal in Pretoria.

Farming community extremely pleased with the arrest of suspected cattle thieves caught in the act Two suspected cattle thieves’ luck ran out last week when they were caught in the act by an undercover agent and policemen. Their arrest was welcomed by local farmers in a time when stock theft is rampant in the Louis Trichardt area. The two men, Thomas Mbilinganye (30) and Eric Mugeri (38), were arrested last Thursday when they tried to sell a cow that they had just slaughtered to the undercover agent. This arrest, however, came with a big price tag. Owner and local farmer Mr Koos Venter estimated the value of the cow, a heifer whose firstborn calf is only six months old, at around R10 000. Venter, who lives in town, was woken by a neighbour on Thursday evening, informing him that the police were looking for him at the farm. When he reached his farm, police were already there with the

two men in custody. According to information supplied, Mbilinganye and Mugeri were approached by the agent working on another farm, asking them for meat. Shortly after the cow was killed, the agent was contacted and given directions to Venter’s farm to come and collect the meat. The agent then informed the police’s dog and stocktheft unit, who supplied him with an unmarked police vehicle to go and pick up the meat. Mbilinganye and Mugeri were arrested shortly after pointing out the cow they had allegedly killed. The animal was caught with a wire snare, after which it was tied to a tree. While still alive, it was hacked to death with pangas. Although Venter lost a cow in the process, he was extremely pleased with the

police’s arrest. “What people don’t get is that cattle thieves are depriving us local famers of our primary source of income,” Venter said. He is one of many farmers who have to struggle with stock thieves and their destructive methods. On his farm, it has become a daily habit to clean up and gather snares, which not only pose a risk for the cattle but other wildlife as well. Last year, Venter lost several cattle to theft, of which one was slaughtered in his kraal. “We really hope that these guys, if found guilty, will receive the maximum sentence,” said Venter. In the meantime, Mbilinganye and Mugeri appeared in the Louis Trichardt Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges of stock theft. They will, however, have to remain in custody until 4 January next year for a formal bail application.

Musina Council suspends their absent manager The Musina Municipal Council suspended its municipal manager, Mr Ntshavheni Abram Luruli, during a special sitting last Thursday. The decision to suspend Luruli, according to the Council, came after he had absconded from work

for four months without permission from the council. It was revealed that Luruli had taken leave from 1 April and was supposed to have returned to work on 1 June, which he failed to do. Instead, he reported to office on Friday, 11 November. Before he was suspended, Luruli was served with a letter, after a resolution was taken on the intention to suspend him, during a Council meeting held on 15 November. He was ordered to submit in writing why he thought the Council should not suspend him. Luruli then responded and submitted a written response through his lawyer. The controversial Luruli also faces charges of corruption, maladministration, failure to comply with the Municipal Finance Management Act and the unlawful awarding of tenders. Suspended Musina municipal manager Mr The spokesperson of the municiAbram Luruli. pality, Mr Wilson Dzebu, confirmed

Luruli’s suspension on Monday. He admitted that Luruli was being investigated by the Special Investigation Unit. “The council suspended Luruli, following the findings and submission of a report to council by the Special Investigation Unit,” he said. According to Dzebu, the municipal manager has been suspended with full salary, until the finalisation of the allegations against him. He said that Luruli was therefore instructed to vacate his office. He can only enter the municipal buildings by appointment, “because the Council feels that his presence at work might jeopardise the investigation and possibly interfere with potential witnesses.” Upon receipt of the suspension letter, Luruli was ordered to hand in any of the municipality’s property within his possession, including his official cellphone, laptop and his office keys.

Hofnuus Louis Trichardt residents were yet again subjected to bone-dry taps last week. According to the Makhado Municipality, this was due to one of the main pumps at the Albasini Dam breaking down last Wednesday night. While some parts of town had little to no water on Tuesday, almost the whole of Louis Trichardt had no water by Friday. This was after the reservoirs had run dry. Municipal spokesperson Mr Louis Bobodi explained on Monday that two much smaller pumps were deployed to supply water while the main pump was being fixed by contractors. “The two pumps were not able to keep the reservoirs full,” he said. Bobodi further said that although some of the water supply was restored by Saturday, people “should just bear with them while the main pump is being fixed.” The pump was expected to be repaired during the course of this week. Meanwhile, residents had to collect their daily supply of water by wheelbarrow and bucket. This lady was spotted in Douthwait Street filling up several plastic buckets with water from her neighbour’s borehole.

Action plan is no plan at all, says SRPA

Representatives of the Soutpansberg Ratepayers Association turned up for the site inspection visit arranged by the Makhado Muncipality. Neither the Municipal Manager nor the Director of Technical Services were available for the inspection. From left are Messrs Johan Fourie and Willie Botha, Ms Inga Gilfillan (Chairperson), Mr Herman Smith, Ms Aretha Smith (manager of the SRPA) and Mr Solly Maano (Vice Chairperson).

As part of their opening ceremony, the Community Policing Forum (CPF) and the Youth Against Crime (YAC) held a peaceful march through Louis Trichardt on Monday morning. Youth groups will consist of different unemployed youths from the surrounding villages. They will be patrolling in and around Louis Trichardt, in collaboration with the Makhado police force to curb crime.

The Makhado Municipality finally tabled its action plan to address issues of service delivery with the Soutpansberg Ratepayers Association (SRPA), but according to the association it is “no action plan” at all. The municipality resolved that their action plan would be ready seven days after the high-powered meeting of 27 October where five representatives of the SRPA and their lawyer met with the municipal manager, Mr Shadrack Tshikalange, and six municipal officials, three members of KWCRS (Khuvutlu Water, Consultation, Roads and Services), two representatives of the Department of Water Affairs and Ms Florah Nkoana of Cogta provincial support. “It was agreed that the municipality would submit a report and the action plan. Seven days were set aside to present a plan, the next seven days inspection in loco would take place and in the last seven days …. the SRPA would release the money,” municipal spokesperson Mr Louis Bobodi said. The final action plan document was only received nearly a month after the 27 October meeting. The site inspection arranged for 7 December was ignored by the municipality and the SRPA representatives waited in vain. They left a while after Tshikalange rushed right through the group waiting for him and disappeared into the office of his secretary. Shortly afterwards, the municipality’s director of technical serivces, Mr Thivho Ralulimi, informed the group that he had earlier given an official an order to let everybody know that he would not be available. The SRPA delegation on their part then refused to go on a site inspection without officials with decision-making power. In the meantime, the chairperson of the Soutpansberg Ratepayers Association, Ms Inga Gilfillan, responded to the municipality’s action plan entitled “Response to Issues Raised by the SRPA.” “We do not merely raise issues; no, we have a dispute document for which an action plan is required. An action plan has starting dates and finishing dates … We are highly concerned that the action plan merely states underfunding and mismanagement, together with wasteful expenditure,” Gilfillan said. With regard to the rates, the municipality’s action plan states that the public was

Work hard. Work smart. Amarok Single Cab. Work hard. Work smart. Amarok Single Cab.

consulted through public participation as confirmed by the Department of Local Government. The SRPA begged to differ and said that the rate randage was never discussed with anyone. Concerning sewer spillage, the action plan indicates that the Eltivillas sewerage booster pump repair work was done on 8 November. The spillages in “Malherbe street, the brewery sewer pump station and corner Byles and Industria Streets were as the result of the non–functionality of the Vlei pump station, which is now fixed.” The SRPA, however, wanted to see how and where these repairs had been done. On the issue of water supply, the action plan states that water restrictions are being implemented as a credit control measure with all members of public. The cause for the water shortage, according to the action plan, is that “the demand is higher than the available water”. A tender for upgrading the Albasini Water Treatment Works has been advertised. “The Nandoni pipeline construction is being fast-tracked by the Department of Water Affairs,” reads the action plan. A new contractor has been appointed to tackle the incomplete reservoir at Mowcop and the site handover was done on 18 November. Ralulimi told Gilfillan that the contractor had 28 days to appear on site. According to the action plan, the municipality needs funding for street rehabilitation of Byles, Verreyne, Van der Lith, Brown and Van der Bergh Street in the industrial area. In Eltivillas, First, Fifth and Sixth Street were included in the multi -year program from 2011 to 2013, a programme which is funded by the Municipal Infrastructure Grant. “This is no action plan, saying that funds are needed without any action or completion dates. There is no street rehabilitation on the regional priority needs document. The streets were last resurfaced in 1994. A pavement management plan needs to be in place to show what is happening to all roads in the next 20 years,” said Gilfillan. On electricity, the action plan states that electricity blocking or restriction is being implemented as a credit control measure. “There is nothing in the action plan regarding maintenance, refurbishing, replacement and a disposal plan as required by legislation. Electricity is only mentioned as a means of a debt collection policy,” Gilfillan said. With regard to pre-paid electricity, the vicechairperson of the SRPA, Mr Solly Maano, said that in the mayor’s budget speech of 2008, promises were made that pre-paid vendor points and vending machines would be established. “It is nearly the end of 2011 and we are still waiting. People who buy directly from Eskom buy around the clock and their electricity is not switched off, even if they are in arrears. To this the municipality states that 24-hour vending of pre-paid electricity will be established by the end of the current financial year, which is June 2012.”

Vuwani police have arrested four suspects in connection with the rape of an 18-year-old girl and her 36-year-old mother. The incident happened last week Thursday at Lwamondo village. According to police information, the suspects, who are between the ages of 22 and 24, forced open a window of the victim’s house. Once in the house, one suspect supposedly gagged the mother whilst the remaining suspects proceeded to her daughter’s room. Sometime during the attack the girl was allegedly dragged from her house and raped outside by one suspect, while her mother was also raped by another suspect. After the rape, the suspects fled from the scene on foot, making off with the victims’ cell phone, cash and clothing. Shortly after the incident, police set up a task team to investigate the matter. The first arrest was made on Thursday, while the remaining three suspects were arrested over the weekend. All four appeared in the Vuvani Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges of rape and house robbery. Their names are known to the Zoutpansberger but are being withheld until the time that they make a plea before the court. In the meantime, provincial police spokesperson Lt Col Ronel Otto confirmed on Monday that the police are also still looking for three more suspects who had allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl at Mvelaphanda village. This incident happened at the same time that the daughter and mother were raped. The two incidents could not be linked.

Volgens sy bedroefde dogter, me.

Local historian Charles Leaches with his “trophy”, given to him by Australian Commander James Unkles, who petitioned the British Government in vain to pardon Harry “Breaker” Morant and Handcock, executed for charges of murders on war prisoners in the Anglo- Boer War. The macabre actions of the Australian Bushveldt Carbineer unit during the Anglo Boer war in the Soutpansberg is the longest-surviving incident of the war. By Linda van der Westhuizen

During their annual induction and prize-giving function over the past weekend, Round Table 66 Zoutpansberg bade farewell to three of its members who have now become “too old” to be a part of this international charity organisation. All is not, however, lost for them as the three now form part of the local 41ers club – an organisation formed to support the work of Round Table. Pictured in front, from left, are the town’s newest 41ers Jan du Plessis, Jaco Kok and Freddie de Swardt. Behind them are 41ers Brian du Plooy, Gavin Watson and Gideon Mellows. A murder controversy that just won’t die

The Australian Bushveldt Carbineer unit’s actions during the Anglo Boer War (1899-1902) in the Soutpansberg comprises the longestsurviving incident of that war. The incident has been kept alive by Australia’s attempts to have charges of murder against two of their officers, Lts Harry “Breaker” Morant and Peter Handcock, reviewed. Last week, local historian Charles Leach, involved with the Zoutpansberg Skirmishes and Hericombat malaria mosquitos started tage Foundation, received letters in this regard from at the end of September and is both the Australian and the British governments. Programme in full swing to combat malaria The number of cases of malaria in Limpopo is currently normal for this time of the year, according to the latest statistics. Of the reported cases, most are in the Vhembe district. The available statistics for the current quarter, from October to the present date, are Capricorn District with two cases, Mopane with 33 cases, Vhembe with 97 cases and Waterberg with two. An increase in the number of cases is usually experienced towards the end of December and the beginning of January. The department is consequently still busy with an energetic prevention campaign.

The campaign includes an extensive spraying programme in high-risk areas and a widespread information and education programme throughout the province by means of flyers, pamphlets and malaria-prevention information events. Malaria prevention by means of personal protection against mosquito bites and early recognition of symptoms are highlighted in the programme. The main symptoms are fever, severe headache, nausea and vomiting. When such symptoms are detected, the patient should be brought to the nearest health facility as soon as possible. had already presented a petition to the British Government, requesting a pardon for their officers who were convicted of murder. The request was rejected, apparently because no new evidence had been brought to the table. A very persistent Unkles then persuaded the Australian Attorney-General to pursue the pardon cause once more. “We recently discovered that Australia’s petition to the UK was already their second attempt. We understand that they are busy with their third attempt to pursue the matter,” Leach said. Leach therefore wrote open letters to Australia’s Attorney-General, the Honourable Robert McClelland MP, as well as to the British Secretary of State for Defence, the Right Honourable Philip Hammond MP. Leach wanted a straight answer from Australia. “Could you confirm whether it is the official policy of the current Australian Government to condone the war crimes for which Morant and Handcock were convicted?” was the question. He also requested them to involve the South Africans, since Leach and other Friends the Zoutpansberg Skirmishes and Heritage Foundation maintain that they have unearthed the true facts of the BVC murders. “The Attorney-General considers that this case raises procedural fairness concerns and wishes to ensure that the British Government is aware that questions exist as to wether the men received fair treatment, in accordance with the standards accepted at the time … the Attorney- General will not be asking the British Government to pardon the men, but rather to consider all relevant issues,” reads the Australian answer to Leach’s letter. “Australia is still not answering the questions directly. Australia is still not involving the South Africans,” Leach said. The British Ministry of Defence wrote that “whilst there has been some press reporting of the Australian Government’s intention to write to the UK Government on this issue (pardoning Morant, Handcock and Witton for offenses committed during the Boer War), to date no such correspondence has been received ,” reads the British answer received last week.

Border authorities at Beit Bridge start with preparations for busy festive season The Zimbabwean and South African border border post during the festive season. Gwede, told Zoutpansberger that they had held a up the process of clearing travellers during the authorities have put in place mechanisms aimed Zimbabwe’s regional immigration manager in series of meetings with South African stakeholders Christmas holiday. at dealing with congestion at the Beit Bridge charge of Beit Bridge Border Post, Mr Charles on how they would jointly work together to speed “We have various systems in place to co-ordinate and see how best we can tackle congestion during the festive period. As border stakeholders, we have held several inter-border meetings with our South African counterparts to discuss and explore ways and strategies aimed at dealing with congestion during this period. We need to work together with the South African authorities and exchange notes, because the issue of congestion on either side has an impact on both the sides of the border,” he said. Gwede said they experienced a slight increase in the number of travellers who passed through the border last weekend, “largely because it was a month-end, when most travellers would be going for shopping. Weanticipate , however, that there will be a huge influx of travellers passing through the border post as we approach the festive season,” Gwede said. Traditionally, immigration officials at Beit Bridge Border Post handle an increased number of travellers during the festive season, most of whom will be Zimbabweans working in South Africa, flocking back into their country to spend Christmas with their families at home. “Other nationals, such as Zambians and Malawians, also use the Beit Bridge Border Post, resulting in pressure on our personnel. Therefore, we are working on various strategies to ensure that we speed up the clearance of travellers. We will categorise travellers and create more counters to enhance the clearance process,” he said. Gwede added that they would suspend leave and off-days for their staff in the run-up to the festive season. “As part of our decongestion drive, we will rearrange our shifts to maximize manpower between 22 and 25 December, when we anticipate that there will be a huge influx of travellers. We will further dissolve the shift from three to two, to ensure that we have more officers per shift. That will effectively manage the queue and speed up the clearance process,” he said. Gwede said they were expecting more officers from other stations to beef up the local staff complement and ensure that all check points and counters were adequately manned. “We continue to urge other stakeholders to complement our efforts to ensure the smooth passage of travellers during the festive period. We will also tighten security at the border to deter touts and bogus clearing agents from accessing the border area. We have put a fence around the border area to enhance security and there are access-controlled gates manned for 24 hours by police,” he added. In the past, there was uncontrolled entry into the border area, resulting in touts and bogus clearing agents finding their way into the customs yard where they would swindle unsuspecting travellers (mostly foreigners) out of their money under the guise of offering assistance. Beit Bridge is the busiest inland port of entry in sub-Saharan Africa, which handles a huge volume of both human and vehicular traffic passing through every day. Commercial trucks destined for east and central African countries such as Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia, also pass through the border post.

The Makhado Municipality’s newly appointed Ambassador of Goodwill, Mr Amie Chhaya of Louis Trichardt, on Saturday received another certificate of appreciation from the Thanya Day Care centre for his continuous support of the centre.

VACANCY Although they are two separate charity organisations, Round Table 66 Zoutpansberg and Ladies Circle 4 have had a very close working relationship for many years. They have even hosted many fundraising events together, such as this year’s melodrama. It was therefore fitting that Round Table 66 Zoutpansberg paid tribute to Ladies Circle 4 during their annual induction dinner and prize-giving function on Saturday at the Gateway Inn Guesthouse in Louis Trichardt. In return, Ladies Circle 4 handed the Table a special guest register as a gift. Mayor Luruli leads by example Leading by example in the fight against HIV/Aids, the mayor of the Makhado Municipality, Cllr Mavhungu Luruli was the first to be tested during the HIV/Aids counseling and testing campaign at the Louis Trichardt Caravan Park last Wednesday. This comes after the Makhado Municipality, in partnership with the Louis Trichardt Memorial Hospital, decided to participate with all its employees in the HIV/Aids counseling and testing campaign. Luruli said that the event came after she realised that the municipality was distributing information regarding the pandemic to the general public, "while forgetting about its

employees". She added that they decided to have an awareness campaign event focusing on the workers. "Except for those rendering essential services at the municipality, workers from other sections participated in the event," Luruli said. She encouraged all municipal workers to get tested for HIV/Aids and other diseases such as diabetes. Luruli urged the workers to take care of their health and know their status. The campaign was celebrated under the theme Zero New HIV Infections. Zero Discrimination. Zero AIDS Related Deaths. Led by the mayor, workers also engaged in a 5km walk, in an effort to improve their health.

Municipality’s lapa in Louis Trichardt. Mdaka said that their festive season’s operation team will be able to respond to any type of accident that might happen anywhere in the district during this time. “There will be several roadblocks, where cars will be searched. We advise motorists that their cars must be in good condition, or else they will be arrested. We will be very strict on drinking and driving and the SAPS will be there to arrest offenders.” He further warned pedestrians to wear light clothes at night which can be seen by drivers “because most accidents happen to pedestrians”. Mdaka said that alcohol drinkers were also warned to stay indoors. “All motorists are advised to carry their licenses wherever they go. We have established operational centres at various locations in our district. The centres will operate on a 24-hour basis until 12 January 2012,” he continued. According to him, the operation has already started and operational centres were established at the fourway stop near Makhado Crossing in Louis Trichardt, at Bokmakierie on the Louis Trichardt- Musina road, the Sasol Garage in Mutale, at Tshilidzini Nursing College and at the Shigalo Tribal Office. He appealed to members of the communities to report all accidents that might occur anywhere near them. Mdaka said motorists must be extra careful during this busiest time of the year.

Several departments in Limpopo have been placed under the administration of national ministers from Monday, which will effectively leave a number of MECs out of work. This follows the decision by the national cabinet last week to place the Limpopo Province under administration after an allegation that the province was on the verge of collapse, due to its inability to fulfill its financial obligations. The Limpopo departments affected are the Treasury, Roads and Transport, Health and Social Development, Public Works and Education. A statement released by government spokesperson Jimmy Manyi last Monday (5 December) confirmed that the Limpopo provincial government has approached Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan to request an approval of additional overdraft facility. He said the request was made on 23 November, wherein the Limpopo government indicated they had used up their R757,3 million overdraft facility with the Corporations for Public

Deposits of the SA Reserve Bank, which facilitates banking arrangements for national and provincial departments, including state-owned entities. Manyi said Limpopo had requested that its facility should be increased by R1 billion to R1, 7 billion. “After carefully assessing the situation in Limpopo, a decision has been taken that members of the national executive will assume responsibilities for the provincial departments of treasury, education, roads and transport, health and social development and public works,” reads the statement. The South African Communist Party (SACP) in Limpopo strongly welcomed the executive cabinet’s decision to place Limpopo Provincial Administration under administration and that it will be overseen by the national executive. Limpopo Premier Mr Cassel Mathale said his provincial government would work harmoniously with the national executive until the process was finalised. According to the Polokwane Observer, a weekly newspaper

in Polokwane, the provincial secretary of Cosatu, Mr Dan Sebabi, commended the cabinet decision and said the union’s march four days before the ruling party’s provincial conference would call for Premier Cassel Mathale, among others, to step down immediately. The Observer also quoted Democratic Alliance (DA) Provincial Leader, Desiree van der Walt, who said that the party would request the Standing Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) to take action against the heads of department and chief financial officers of the affected departments. In the report by the Observer, the provincial head of the the African Christian Democratic Party’s (ACDP), Modiba Sedibane, said he would have preferred the entire provincial government to be put under administration and not just the five departments. Congress of the People’s provincial chairperson Solly Mkhatshwa also said the party wanted the entire provincial government to be put under administration as well as some of the municipalities.

In CVO-skool ken kinders hul Bybel

D

- Red

The Way, the Truth and the Life

Knowing heart rest when bewildered by God’s inscrutable ways: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart.” - Psalm 73:26

T

he late German pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote: “But just as the capacity to forget is a gift of grace, so memory, the recalling of the lessons we have learnt, is an essential element in responsible living.” We will look at some lessons to be learned about the importance of trusting the essential goodness of God. Have you ever wrestled deeply with the mysterious ways of providence or questioned why God did not respond to your urgent, heart-felt prayer within a certain time frame? Be encouraged, you are not alone. Are you increasingly dismayed by what seems to be the Lord’s unexplained purpose for not intervening in your nightmare. Take heart, slowly, step by step, you will come to realise that you cannot continue living under the selfimposed pall of despair and excessive grief that had enveloped your emotions. Beginning a journey out from the dark lands of disillusionment with God’s mysterious ways is not necessarily an onerous process, but neither is it achieved overnight. However, the Lord does graciously direct us in the process. This realization opens our eyes to refocus our mental energies on the vital lessons once learned to be true in the past about God’s integrity of heart. God brings us to a place of genuine heart-rest typified by “the garment of praise, instead of a spirit of despair.” (Isaiah 61:3) - 079 5168303

“Was it not for him, I would be dead” After a life-threatening ordeal on the Thohoyandou road last Saturday morning, a Louis Trichardt resident, Ms Marika du Preez, is eager to make contact with the people who came to her rescue when her car caught fire on the way to Levubu. “I have thanked the Lord over and over again for sending these people at the right time to save my life. I would really want to thank them personally for the capable and diligent assistance and the compassionate way in which they reacted to me in my desperate plight,” says Du Preez. This week, obviously still deeply moved, Du Preez, who has severe health problems, related how her trip to Levubu came to an abrupt end when smoke suddenly started billowing from the engine. She stopped beside the very busy road, shocked and unable to move. “A man who was driving a lorry with a cargo of

vegetables and who was right behind me when the trouble started, immediately stopped and rushed to my window. He told me to open the window and then to open the bonnet of the car,” Du Preez said. While she was still too dazed to react, the man put his arm through the window, released the bonnet latch and started putting out the fire with a fire extinguisher. “At the same time, he instructed me to get out of the vehicle and to phone my people. He called on a woman in one of the other cars which had also stopped, to bring me some water, while he took tools from his car to disconnect my car’s battery. The woman offered me water to drink. All of them acted with so much compassion, and I am really so sad that I did not even have the opportunity to find out what their names were and how I can contact them. I would like to thank them personally for their kindness. They saved my life,” said Du Preez. After ensuring that she was safe and that help was on the way, the unknown man excused himself because he had an urgent delivery to make in Thohoyandou. He assured her, however, that he would be back on his return trip. “An expert told me that this man did exactly the right things at the right time to ensure that I did not get trapped in the burning car. Were it not for his expert and timely actions, I could have been killed,” Du Preez said. After she got out of the car, she succeeded in contacting family and friends, who came to her further assistance. Du Preez expressed her profound appreciation and thanks to PC and Zarika Gird and also to everybody else who helped. She had special appreciation for Mr Gert Coetzee of Werda Motors for his professional assistance.

Werknemers by Specialised Oil Extraction se administratiewe kantore, waar die Pakmark gebou geleë is, moes vir maande die riooldam by hul werkplek verduur.

situasie opgelos is. Rudi Meissenheimer in sluit, begin werk. Me.

Well done young man ...the 16-year-old Richard Partridge from Polokwane proudly displays the 2,98kg large-mouth bass he caught at Nandoni Dam on 4 December. With the help of his dad, Richard senior, he managed to catch his five-fish bag limit before 11:00 that morning, with the bag weighing in at an astonishing 15,3kg. According to Dad Richard, the bag weight is a new record for Nandoni. Apart from his good catches on the 4th, young Richard also reeled in a huge 4.1 large-mouth during a competition the previous day. Photo supplied.
