Together we make a difference Snapshot This is just a snapshot of the first 40 years in the history of the local charity now known as One Community. It is a brief outline of how the charity developed and the services it has provided over the years and, in some cases, s ll provides today. But it is also the story of the people who made it happen; the trustees, the staff and volunteers who provided excellent care and go above and beyond to ensure One Community achieves its aim of improving the quality of people's lives. One Community is grateful to our partners Eastleigh Borough Council, Hampshire County Council and Fareham Borough Council for funding towards our work. Contract funding covers other aspects of our services but we do have to raise money constantly in order to break even. A young carer’s ou ng can cost £20 per young person A coffee morning for older people can cost £30 A series of visits to an isolated, lonely person can cost £50 You can donate online via our website www.1community.org.uk or you can make a dona on here today in one of our gi aid envelopes.
