Welcome to our engagement toolkit! This toolkit provides you with a solid base of knowledge from which to broaden engagement in your communities. The tools are designed to give you a generic introduction to marketing yourself as a community group, and is the vital first step towards branching out to those harder to reach groups.

Engagement Project, which was commissioned by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Neighbourhood Watch Association (HINWA), funded by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, and carried out by the research department of One Community. The project was commissioned to look at how to help neighbourhood watch (NHW) break into new communities such as areas of economic deprivation, young people, and black and minority ethnic communities.
